Penn State College of Medicine Special Olympics Community Outreach Club Kickball Event!

Hey everyone! The Penn State College of Medicine Special Olympics Community Outreach Club is hosting a kickball event on Tuesday, September 15th at 6:00 PM at the softball fields on campus at the Hershey Medical Center!

We’d love to have some of our Special Olympics athletes join us for an evening of kickball, fun, and getting to know one another! This event is also a great opportunity for College of Medicine students to learn more about Special Olympics, hear about the different ways they can get involved, and build connections with our athletes.

We hope you can come out, play some kickball, and spend some time together! 🙌

On Friday, August 28th Area M is holding a Bingo Fundraiser at the Marysville Lions Club, We are in need of themed baskets for the Raffle Area and baked good for the Bake Sale. Baked goods must be individually wrapped and ready to sell. Please comment below if you can help out.

This fundraiser is invaluable to our program to be able to allow our athletes to train and compete at no cost to them so we really need your support.

Introducing THE SWEETEST COMPETITION! Our annual Fall Classic event has gotten a makeover. Don't you just want to gobble our new logo?!

We are looking for volunteers from all of our local programs, as well as anyone and everyone from the community, who want to be a part of this SWEEEEET event.

Look at all of the sports! Many, many athletes and teams, means we need many, many helping hands!

The West Shore Chamber of Commerce is hosting their Taste of the Chamber on July 15. Local restaurants, breweries, wineries and catering businesses will be there with foods to sample throughout the night. A portion of the proceeds will be coming to Area M!!!

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased using the QR code on the flyer or by going to their website at wschamber.org. (online ticket sales will close on July 1).

Your ticket will get you entry and the Ability to Savor from 1794 Whiskey Rebellion, Allenberry Resort, Chick-fil-a, Philly Pretzel Factory, Visaggios, Dukes...just to name a few!
It sounds like a fun night to try some new foods, support local businesses, and SPREAD THE WORD of Special Olympics!
