🦕😲 Dinosaur Sign On The Loose! 🦕😲

We were notified that our dinosaur sign at the Cameron County Overlook is missing. Apparently that dinosaur got restless and wanted to explore! 🤣 We do have a laminated sign placed at the Overlook for the time being. However, if the wind blew our original sign into your backyard, or if you spotted it along the road somewhere, could you please either return it to the library or place it at the Overlook again? We'd greatly appreciate it! 🌬️🦖

🦖🔍 Attention, Dinosaur Hunters! 🔎🦖

We've been informed that parts of Woodland Elementary School have been closed off for construction. The entrance to the Gary Dubler Memorial Trail won't be accessible via the elementary school parking lot. 🏗️ 🚫 However, there are alternate entrances for you to find 3 of the Dubler Trail Dinosaur Signs. Please stay out of current construction zones for your own safety.

For the Gary Dubler Memorial Trail & Trail Entrance Dino Signs, you can park at Fuel On and walk the d**e embankment closest to the yellow bridge before you get to Tannery Heights. For the Dubler Trail Wetland Pond, you can find the sign by accessing the Cameron County Fairgrounds.

All of our dinosaur friends have FINALLY made their way across Cameron County, and ALL of the dinosaur signs are now in their designated hiding spots. That means there are more dinosaurs for you to find! Happy Hunting!

Also, while you're out looking for dinosaurs throughout Cameron County, please take the time to visit the places of interest where we placed the signs! These places include: natural landmarks, historical sites, state parks, and trails. We encourage you to explore our beautiful county and discover the adventure of a lifetime this summer!

A Pterodactyl flew in and informed us that the remainder of our dinosaur friends are SUPER close to reaching their destinations in Cameron County! 🦕🌴 With that said, starting TOMORROW (6/12/26) ALL of our dinosaur scavenger hunt signs will be in their designated locations. So that means there'll be more dinosaurs for you to find! 👀🔎

Also, if you've found your first 5 dinosaurs, please stop by the library to claim your instant prize. For every 5 dinosaurs you find afterward, you'll receive 1 raffle ticket for a chance to win one of our cool prize packages! If you find ALL 25, you'll receive 1 raffle ticket entry into our Grand Prize Package! 🎁🎟

Just as a friendly reminder, if you take photos of the signs, or selfies, we ask that you take close up pictures so as not to give the locations away. 📷✨ We LOVE all of the photos that have been submitted already. We've changed one of the locations on the CC Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt List. #18 on the list is marked as: Pavilion By Creek. That has now been changed to: Gary Dubler Memorial Trail Entrance.

🦖✨ Dino Grabbers Now Available for Instant Prizes ✨🦕

We finally received our shipment of dinosaur grabber toys! These toys are 1 of the 3 instant prizes you can win when you find your first 5 dinosaurs. 🦖🔎 The other two prizes are 1. colorful dinosaur keychains or 2. travel utensil kits. So for those who wanted a dino grabber after finding their first 5 dino pals, but we didn't have them at the time, please stop by to grab one.

The enthusiasm for this dino-mite scavenger hunt has been truly RAWR-some, and we're loving seeing families get out and explore Cameron County in search of prehistoric pals!

🎟️ After that, for every additional 5 dinosaurs you find, you'll earn 1 raffle ticket entry toward one of our awesome prize packages. Check out the photos in this post to see some of the prizes you could win! Our raffle ticket bags are ready and waiting.

📸 Taking selfies with the dinosaurs? We'd love to see them! However, please crop your photos or take close-up shots so the dinosaur locations aren't revealed. We want everyone to enjoy the thrill of the hunt, and giving away locations takes some of the fun out of the adventure.
