As we wrapped up our final meet of the season last night, it truly hit me – track is officially done for the year! This past season, though only a few months on the calendar, felt like an eternity spent with these incredible girls, and I mean that in the best possible way. Every practice, every bus ride, every shared moment of triumph and challenge just deepened our connection, making the time feel both fleeting and incredibly rich. It's wild how quickly it all flies by, yet the memories we made and the bonds we forged feel like they've been years in the making.
This group of young ladies has genuinely taught me so many things I didn't even realize I still needed to learn. Their unwavering work ethic is something truly special; it goes above and beyond every single time they step onto that track, whether it's pushing through a tough workout or giving their absolute all in a race. They embody dedication and perseverance, inspiring everyone around them. Beyond their athletic prowess, I could always count on them to brighten a day, whether it was putting a much-needed smile on a teammate's face or even mine, lifting spirits when things got tough.
Their relentless drive to succeed isn't just about winning races; it's about personal growth, pushing boundaries, and supporting one another every step of the way. That collective spirit has been profoundly inspiring, not just for me, but for others!
To the seniors, I will be cheering for you from wherever you decide to go in life I will always be in your corner!
