Shane’s wild ride!!!

🏁 We had such a great day at the track yesterday! 🏁

Shane and Mike both did a great job in their heat races and raced hard all day! ❤️ Both ended up in the B Main, and we couldn’t have been prouder of them!

It was a HUGE show for the Carol Smith Memorial Race, and what an awesome night to be at the track! 🏁🔥

Shane started his B Main in 3rd and was racing hard to try to get himself into the A Main. He wanted that spot and definitely wasn’t ready to give it up! 😅 Unfortunately, we ended up with a wreck. It wasn’t Shane’s fault, and thankfully both guys were okay. ❤️

So…no A Main for Shane. And let me just say, Dani was a LITTLE ticked! 😂

Then Mike went out for his B Main and immediately felt like something wasn’t right in the rear end of his car. Turns out he had lost his spindle nut, so he had to bring it back off the track. Definitely not the way we wanted the night to go for either one of them!

But that’s racing! You can have a great car, a great night, and things can change in a split second. 🏁

There’s just something about race nights—the noise, the excitement, the competition, the ups and downs, and spending the day with family and friends. ❤️

So thankful for days like this, even when they don’t end exactly the way we hoped! 🏁❤️

Both cars need worked on before we can race again. Shane’s keeps popping out of gear. Mike got hit by someone and messed up the air cleaner. We will be back out there again in 2 weeks.
