PLACE:​Muncie Fieldhouse- 525 N. Walnut St. Muncie, IN, 47305

TIME:​​7:30AM​Weigh-Ins Begin
8:00AM​Doors Open for Spectators
​8:45AM​Coaches Meeting
​9:00AM​Wrestling Begins

WRESTLING SCHEDULE: Round I & II: 4 Mats 9AM (Short break for table help between I & II)
​​​Lunch Break 30 minutes
​​​​Round III: 4 Mats Semi Finals
​​​​Short break to remove two mats & adjust equipment
Round IV: 2 Mats Consolation and Finals- (We will do face-offs for finals)

ENTRANCE: ​Teams will enter on the west side of the Fieldhouse (Football stadium side)
All buses will park in the north lot of Muncie Central High School. There will be a shuttle back to the Fieldhouse.


ADMISSIONS:​$10.00 AT THE DOOR CASH ONLY. Link to purchase tickets-


SEATING:​All seating (wrestlers, coaches, spectators) will be located in the upper level of the Fieldhouse. Team areas may be set up anywhere up top.

CONCESSIONS:​A CONCESSION STAND WILL BE AVILABLE, CASH ONLY.


ADVANCEMENT:​The top (4) individual finishers in each weight class will advance to the state finals hosted at the Corteva Coliseum Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center.

To say I’m incredibly proud of these young ladies is an absolute understatement. Everyone single on of them wrestles their hearts out and left it all out on the mat. Mackenzie Harris won her first Sectional title at 100 pounds. Advancing to Regionals
Alaina Griego placed 5th at 110 pounds, in which in my opinion is a loaded weight class.
Grace Kalen placed 6th at 130 pounds and a broken foot, leaving it all on the mat.
Jadie Haulk placed 5th at 170 pounds as a first year wrestler.
Mariska (Risky) Henderson placed 3rd at 190 pounds and wrestled her best to advance to Regionals.
Amber Sanders placed 4th at 235 pounds advance to Regionals.
Most of these girls are 1st and 2nd year wrestlers and have shown much improvement throughout the entire year. They placed 8th overall as a team. We are proud of the young ladies they are becoming.

Going into the finals we have Mackenzie Harris will be wrestling for a Sectional Championship. Mariska (Risky) Henderson and Amber Sanders will be wrestling for 3rd place.
Alaina Griego, Grace Kalen, and Jadie Haulk will be wrestling for 5th place.
We are incredibly proud of these girls and their hard work and dedication.

Tomorrow 8 of these young ladies start their journey to the State Finals. It’s a long road, but we have worked hard and prepared ourselves for this moment. It’s win or go home, and we dont want to go home. Come support these young ladies at Shenandoah High at 9 a.m cost is $8 and they tak cash or card at the gate. We hope to see you there!

Today the Lady Panther Wrestlers competed in the DeKalb Girls Wrestling Invitational. The girls wrestled very well today. Grace Kalen wrestled lights out pinning all 3 opponents making her the 130 pound champion. Placing second and wrestling lights out as well were Alaina Griego 110 lbs, Mariska Henderson 190 lbs, and Amber Sanders 235 lbs. Placing 3rd were Mackenzie Harris 105 lbs, Ellie Lang 135 lbs, and Jadie Haulk 170 lbs. With a 4th place finish was Lilly Swan-Sorg.

Great job today ladies, this was just the tune up we needed before Sectionals.

Today we competed in the Lady Cougar Invitational at Central Noble. We saw some tough competition, there were 35 top 10 ranked wrestlers there along with other ranked wrestler. Our girls wrestled hard and showed much improvement. Amber Sanders placed 6th at 235. We are proud you Amber as well as your teammates. Keep working towards your goal.

Tonight the lady Panther grapplers had a triple dual with Blackford and Wi******er.

These girls are getting better by each day. They are still learning, but improving each time they step on th mat.
