Decided late last night to jump in and fish a bass tournament today, started off with few short fish made some moves and got into some good ones. Managed enough for 3rd out of 33 boats, lost 2 key fish that should’ve put us where we needed to be. Picked up a MOtion Fishing Co. jig and never put it down the rest of the day.

Note to self, when storms start flipping docks over and almost sinking boats, go home 😂. I’ve had 2 days this year we didn’t catch limits, today we come up short. There was alot of short strikes and brutal conditions. Thermocline is setting in certain parts and fish are just scattered everywhere and finicky, still had a lot of fun and caught some fish!

When there’s 30 boats with ffs in an area throwing at the same suspended fish getting nothing but follows, do something different! 5 fish in 6 cast. Those bottom fish are overlooked.
