🥎Join us for Senior Night Today at 4 pm! Game time is 4:30!🥎Here’s our last Senior Spotlight: Audrey is a 4 year varsity starter who began her softball career with Tball. Soon after she learned to pitch from Alicia McGee, and pitcher quickly became her primary position.
Audrey began playing travel softball for the Crushers. One summer she picked up for Oregon Select at a tournament, and was then blessed with opportunities to play with them each Fall. Audrey also played for Diamond Fastpitch, and finally PNW Shamrocks. Audrey and her family spent many miles and hours at softball fields in Oregon, Washington, and California. Every tournament was time well spent watching Audrey grow and develop into the player she is.
Audrey steadily grew as a pitcher, teammate, and hitter over her softball career, especially when it came to the mental aspect of pitching.
Audrey has been awarded all league honors all 4 years of varsity high school softball, including All League First Team Pitcher her Junior and Senior years. Over the years she has shown growth, especially with the mental aspect of pitching.
Audrey has had the privilege of working with some
Wonderful coaches over the years: Paul Witt, who also introduced her to Jamie Boytz who graciously helped with her pitching, Mark Lydon, Jared Adams, Rindy Spicer, and Nick Skenzick, not to mention all of the assistant coaches who helped along the way. Thank you for believing in Audrey and pushing her to be her best.
Audrey’s family will miss watching her play: spending summers on the road to yet another tournament, tagging along as her dad searched for the best tacos, and enjoying quality time together watching her play through the challenges and successes. It has been a privilege watching her do what she loves and getting to be a part of it. Audrey will continue to shine as she pursues a career as a nurse, taking all the lessons she’s learned from a sport she loved into the future. Let’s go #24!!!
