Our new aspiring Form 1 Instructors this week!
Wish them luck as they explore all the possibilities of
Form 1 led by Tecnico Jeremy, assisted by Instructor Kevin!

Be on the lookout during classes this week! Didn't be afraid to say hello!

We have athletes here from St Louis, Philadelphia, Colorado and Boston. This week will be unique as we do not often get a whole group of people at courses like this who have already experienced Form 1 in part or in its entirety. This means they can deep dive into theory and spend more time practicing teaching! We are excited for the potential this group has being here!

Event: KEALFEST
Dates: July 18-19th (Doors open at 9am)
Tickets: Day Tickets are $20 - Weekend Pass $30
Parking: 1 Day $20 - 2 day $30
Location: Cooperstown NY

Theme: Fire. Steel. BBQ.

Special guest: Doug Marcaida from Forged in Fire

What is going to be going on?

-Live Bladesmithing
-"Maker Marketplace" - Custom Knife Vendors
-Ludosport and other combat system vendors
-Fire-to-table Barbeque
-Forged in Fire Meet and Greet with Doug Marcaida
-"Forge your own Knife" - Take it home the same day.
-Cutting Competition
-Throwing Arena for knives axes and archery, 3 different challenges
-Kid-Friendly Zones packed with safe hands-on activities for the kiddos!

We are helping to get the word out! I was only going to share it locally but I think this is something some folks would travel for so I wanted to notify far and wide 🙂

Kendra Hunt, Rob Zollinger, Pat Dunn (and maybe Doug Payne) will all be going out to work the event for the weekend.

Some of our students went off to compete in the USA Nationals - which was held in St. Louis Missouri this year! Next step is the Champions’ Arena which is being held in Milan, Italy this November’

We are so proud of all of these athletes.
They all showed up this weekend.

A special shout out to Rob Zollinger and Patrick Dunn who placed Podium for both Arena and Style!!!
