We had a great time at Ralley in the Valley! If you haven't been to it before, make sure you come see us next year.
This is where we will be this Saturday if you missed us last week. Everyone come by and see us and bring your kids! This will be our first year at this festival, and is a fundraising benefit for Guardians of the Children.
We will be donating 25% percent of our sales to them! So please come out and help us raise money for the children and have a great time!

I will be teaching another class for SCC in October. It will be the first 4 Saturdays in the month. If you already have taken the basic class it will be a knife making class. If you have not taken the basic class we will be covering the basics. You will make at least 1 project to keep each week. Please register on the SCC web page. The class has a very few spots left so register as soon as possible so you don't miss out on a fun and entertaining time! I look forward to seeing you in October!

We will be at the Ralley in the Valley tomorrow in Elkin. We will be in spot 16 right beside the shade tent. We look forward to seeing everyone there! This is my favorite festival of the year!

We just want to let everyone know I will be doing another class at Surry Community College the first 4 Saturdays in October. It will cover basic blacksmithing techniques and skills.It is required for the upcoming winter class on bladesmithing. If you have already taken the basic class is will be instructing you on bladesmithing.
The bladesmithing class will cover from start to finish how to properly forge a knife. I am currently working on the syllabus and will post more about it in the next few months.
Also, we are planning on doing night classes for basic blacksmithing and bladesmithing. Im wondering what evenings would be the best for the class. I am planning on 3 evenings a week from 6pm to 9 pm. If you have e any suggestions feel free to let me know.
We are also in discussion about an advanced class on making Damascus steel. I will be instructing on how to make both layered and canister Damascus.
So make sure you register for the basic class. The past 2 have filled up quick! Registration is open now on the SCC page so go ahead and register! I look forward to seeing everyone there!

We are excited to announce we will be doing another basic blacksmithing class at SCC Yadkinville campus. The class will be held every Saturday in June. We are also planning on doing an intermediate class focusing on knives and an advanced class focusing on making layered and canister Damascus.
Both of those will be offered this fall and the college requires you to take the basic class first. They charge way less per a class than what forges do. Make sure you register as soon as they open the portal. The last class filled up fast, so register as early as you can. The basic class is 24 hrs long and the intermediate and advanced are planned to be 30 hrs right now. The first class was a blast!
