⚾ Jimtown Park End of Season Outing – South Bend Cubs! ⚾

To wrap up our regular season, we would like to invite all Jimtown Park players, coaches, and families to join us for a fun afternoon at a South Bend Cubs game on Sunday, June 28th!

We currently have 80 tickets reserved in a designated Jimtown Park section. As tickets are purchased and our group grows, additional seats will continue to be added so everyone can sit together.

Hey everyone!! We have a parent that lost her prescription glasses tonight at the park. They blew off of her head in the wind gusts. If anything happens to see them somewhere between softball, TBall and the bathroom please turn them Into concessions. Thank you!

☀️ Heat Advisory for Today & Tomorrow ☀️

Today and tomorrow are expected to be two of the hottest days we’ve experienced so far this season. Please make sure players and families are taking precautions to stay safe in the heat.

💧 Hydrate throughout the day—not just when you arrive at the park.
🥤 Bring plenty of water and fluids to games and practices.
🌳 Take advantage of shade and cooling breaks between innings and games.
⚠️ Watch for signs of heat-related illness, including dizziness, headache, nausea, or excessive fatigue.

🧊 Reminder Ice Packets are only to be requested for injuries, not to be used to cool off.

To help keep everyone safe, we will have hydration stations set up outside concessions for players, coaches, umpires, and spectators. Please use these respectfully as they are for everyone!!

Jimtown Park Family, we need your help!

Next week, June 15–18, Jimtown Park will be hosting our Give Back Week to support Oscar and his family as they continue their fight against leukemia.

To make this event a success, we need volunteers to help in the concession stand. We currently have open shifts available each night. The concession stand will be open Monday through Thursday from 4:30 PM until the last game ends (typically around 9:00 PM).

If you are available to help, even for part of a shift, please reach out. Every hour volunteered helps us maximize the support we can provide to Oscar and his family.

💛 Supporting a Jimtown Park Family 💛

As many of you may already know, one of our Jimtown Park families is facing the fight of their lives. Oscar was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is currently undergoing treatment at Riley.

To help support Oscar and his family during this difficult time, Jimtown Park will be donating 10% of all concession sales during the week of June 15th directly to the family.

We encourage everyone to stop by the concession stand, grab a meal, snack, or treat, and help us show this family the strength and support of our Jimtown community. Every purchase will make a difference.

Please keep Oscar and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they continue this journey. Thank you for helping us rally around one of our own.
