We had an amazing time at Safety Camp this past week! Thank you for joining us to have fun and learn about staying safe. If you missed this year's camp, we host it annually in early summer for kids in grades 3 to 5.

The Senior Activity Center recently offered a fun opportunity for a guided "Birding 101" walk led by Morgan, the Senior Activity Center Assistant and a recent graduate in Environmental Studies. Participants had the chance to use the Merlid Bird ID smartphone app to identify bird calls while getting some exercise and appreciating the beauty of nature.

- Park-a-Palooza at Orono Park from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Enjoy chalk, games, and crafts.

Tuesday:
- Join us for Popsicles with Public Safety and a Foam Party, featuring JonnyPops. This event kicks off Orono Evenings in the Park, sponsored by First Bank Elk River. Tuesday, June 16, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Orono Park.

Thursday:
- Entertainment in the Park: Will Hale and the Tadpole Parade at Woodland Trails Regional Park at 10:30 a.m.
- Farmers Market: 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Elk River YMCA parking lot.

Due to rain, this evening's concert with ABBASolutely Fab - Tribute Band has moved indoors to The Yard at the Furniture and Things Community Event Center (1000 School St).

Join us for the free show at 7:00 p.m.! Doors open at 6:00 p.m. The Overlook Café will be available for food and drinks. Bring your chairs and blankets.

This event is hosted by the City of Elk River and The Bank of Elk River.

The Riverfront Concerts kick off tomorrow! Here’s how to join the fun:
