🎉Please join us in welcoming Brian Hoover as the new Head Varsity Boys Wrestling Coach at Upper Dauphin Area School District! 🎉

Coach Hoover brings over 20 years of coaching experience to the program, including more than 15 years within Upper Dauphin Area's wrestling family. During that time, he has served in a variety of roles — Varsity Assistant Coach, Head Junior High Coach, and Elementary Coach — giving him a deep understanding of the program at every level.

Currently in his 20th year of teaching, Coach Hoover serves as a Physical Education teacher at Upper Dauphin. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Lock Haven University and a Master's degree in Kinesiology from Fresno Pacific University.

As a wrestler, Coach Hoover is a former PIAA State Medalist and competed collegiately at Lock Haven University.

We are excited for the leadership and experience Coach Hoover brings to our wrestling program and look forward to a great season ahead!

🎉Please join us in welcoming Noah Latshaw as the new Head Varsity Girls Wrestling Coach at Upper Dauphin Area School District!🎉

Coach Latshaw brings over 23 years of coaching experience to the program, including 8 years with the Upper Dauphin Area wrestling family where he was a Varsity Assistant Coach for the boys and girls programs and Head Coach of our Elementary program.

Coach Latshaw has served the community for the last 16 years as the owner of Latshaw Inc a mechanical company offering plumbing, heating and Air Conditioning services. He holds an Associate Degree in Construction Management and Supervision, holding an International Master Plumber License. He was a part of the Local 520 plumbers and Pipefitters union where he completed his apprenticeship/journeyman and Master's certifications.

Coach Latshaw’s love for wrestling started from the moment he stepped on the mat at age four. He has taken great pride in coaching his children throughout the years. He has developed and coached National Level teams, Fargo All Americans, and World medalists with some of the top talent, past and present, in Pennsylvania history. We are excited for the expertise and connections Coach Latshaw brings to our wrestling program and look forward to a great season ahead!

Guilianna went 5-2, losing in the blood round to the #1 seed in the country. Chloe had a great experience and brought home a win, too! Way to go, ladies! Keep grinding! 💪

Guilianna Latshaw is HEADED TO FARGO! 🗽➡️🌾

Huge congratulations to Guilianna Latsahw for a dominant performance this past weekend at the 2026 Phil Portuese Northeast Regional Championships! Guilianna went on a absolute tear in the 16U Girls 110lb Freestyle division:

Round of 16: Win by Fall (1:48)

Quarterfinals: Win by Tech Fall (10-0)

Semifinals: Win by Fall (1:31)

1st Place Match: Win by Fall (1:12)

With that 1st Place finish, she has officially qualified for the US Marine Corps 16U National Championships in Fargo, North Dakota this July! 🇺🇸

We are so proud of your hard work and can’t wait to see you light up the mats on the national stage. Let’s go, Guilianna! 🤼‍♀️🔥

The Lady Trojans Earn 2 Medals at the Keystone State Championships held this weekend at State College.

Guilianna Latshaw would win a State Championship in the 16u 112lb weight class.

Pippa Hoffman-Long would earn a 7th place medal in the 12u 145lb weight class.
