Bluegrass Sportsplex and Scudder Sports are hosting a fall 2026 adult co-ed volleyball league!

The league will run Oct 6-Nov 21 with a 2 day tournament Nov 20 and Nov 21! Games will be held on Tuesday nights from 6-9pm.

Registration price includes a league t-shirt and prize for the winning team. Matches will be played best 2 out of 3 sets to 25 points with a third set played to 15 points if necessary.

Teams can have a roster with a minimum of 6 players and maximum of 10 players. Individual sign ups will be allowed but players MUST email [email protected] for registration.

18+ Volleyball Open Play!

Beers & Bad Sets is a monthly organized open play night. Participating players will be assigned a randomized team. When signing up, you may include another player; they will always be a part of your team. Sign-ups are $5 per person. Teams will play off against each other for a set amount of time or a best-of-3 match. Teams will be made based on how many players sign up. Teams & match structure will be determined by the number of participating players.

After Beers & Bad Sets, players are invited to continue playing freely against any remaining players, as in a typical open play. We’re hoping that with this new structure, new players, or players looking to find more teammates for tournaments, can use this event to play the sport at a less competitive level.

Matches will be played for a time limit based on the number of participating teams. Formations will be played as 6-on-6 co-ed with a minimum of 2 women on the court at one time, in opposite rotation of each other. Meaning one woman must be in the front row and the back row at all times. Teams can have a roster size of up to 8 players, allowing for 2 player substitutes if they wish.
