Etown Shock 16U won big over RBI Bulls Navy 16U 11-5. A ground out by Jason Thomas put RBI Bulls Navy 16U on the board in the bottom of the first.

Etown Shock 16U captured the lead, 2-1, in the top of the third after Talis Hazelwood tripled to center field, and Kaden Fortwengler hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Etown Shock 16U scored two runs in the top of the fifth on a home run to right field by AJ McKinley.

Etown Shock 16U scored five runs on five hits in the top of the seventh inning. Evan McNeil singled, scoring one run, McKinley drew a walk, scoring one run, Hazelwood singled, scoring one run, Kaden Green singled, scoring one run, and Leyton Huerth singled, scoring one run.

Carsen Williams earned the win for Etown Shock 16U. The righty surrendered 10 hits and four runs over six innings, striking out six and walking one. Ayden Thurman opened the game for Etown Shock 16U. The starter allowed one hit and one run over one inning, striking out one and walking one. Cody Bradbury led things off on the bump for RBI Bulls Navy 16U. The starting pitcher allowed five hits and six runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out eight and walking five.

Etown Shock 16U collected 10 hits in the game. Hazelwood, Huerth, and Bryce Aebersold each collected two hits for Etown Shock 16U. McKinley and Konner Gray each drove in two runs for Etown Shock 16U. Etown Shock 16U had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Huerth and Fortwengler led the team with two walks each. Etown Shock 16U turned one double play in the game. Etown Shock 16U didn’t commit a single error in the field. Huerth had the most chances in the field with eight.

A complete team effort from start to finish as the Shock take control early and never look back!

🔥 Offensive Highlights
• Carsen Williams sparked the offense with a double and finished with 2 RBIs
• Kaden Green doubled and collected 2 hits
• Leyton Huerth went 2-for-2 with a double and scored a run
• Brayden Cecil drove in a run with a clutch RBI single
• Ayden Thurman added 2 RBIs

💪 On the Mound Kaden Fortwengler was dominant, tossing 5 scoreless innings, allowing just 7 hits while striking out 5 to earn the win.
