🇺🇸Happy 4th and 250th everyone! Just a reminder that the Traditional & Classic Archery Trade Show (TCATS), will be in Shipshewana February 18-20, one show/one location only, in 2027. Below you will see the announcement. The detailed flier is in the works.
Also, Traditionaljunk.com is also "under construction" and will be receiving much needed upgrades and new inventory in the upcoming months. As always, we very much appreciate the continued and growing support of both! God bless you all, and America!🇺🇸

TCATS and the Expo has been very busy today! Just a clarification, although you can walk into both TCATS and the consignment areas with a few bows to sell or trade, no open dealing is allowed out on the floor in the TCATS or Expo rooms. The choices are selling or trading to dealers only in TCATS, or, selling your bow within the consignment area on the range side of building. This is a new arrangement this year. My apologies for getting this out so late. Long day. Packed room. (To reiterate, there is a consignment rack on the expo side you can sell bows for a small fee. David Darling owns and manages that. On the Traditional & Classic Archery Trade Show (TCATS), as another option, you can also walk in with a bow or two to sell or trade. All tables are sold out. $20 for a weekend pass, to ALL events.) We just arrived in Kalamazoo from Louisville KY area. It was a clean dry drive all the up 65, 265, 69, to 94 into Kazoo. To reiterate what David Darling said on posts today, the show is most definitely on. The roads are fine here. Posting a screenshot of the current forecast here. Looks great to me aside from being pretty chilly. (And for those interested, I can attest, the parking lot is clear at Paradise Buffet in Auburn😁)

After the successful 2024 show, TCATS was asked to run all 3 days in 2025, in conjunction with the Trad Archers Expo. This was the first time being a 3 day show. By far, #4 was bigger yet. Huuuuge thanks to David Darling and family. This coming weekend, the show will be bigger than last year. Enjoy last year's set-up and live show pics. See y'all soon!

The past several weeks I have chronicled the history of TCATS in photos. Yesterday, I posted pics of the 2024 show. Immediately after that show, thanks to David Schneider of Whiskey City Traditional Archers, he posted a YouTube video of the show. 2024 TCATS, for the first time, combined with the Traditional Archers Expo in Kalamazoo. It was a 1 day Friday event. But thanks to the dealers, and attendee's, it was again the biggest TCATS show 3rd time in a row. This show set the stage for 2025. Enjoy a look back at some show, and pre-show pics.

In 2023, TCATS teamed up with the Compton Traditional Bowhunters at their Big Game Classic in Grand Rapids. It was a unique setup, in the grand ballroom, with all the world class mounts lining the walls. (Some "behind the scenes" pics as well)We had a blizzard early the morning of the show. But every single vendor showed up. And then the crowd packed it in. What a turnout, what a show, and weekend of memories! Thank you Compton. So thankful for the vendors and everyone in the Trad community that makes TCATS successful!
