Well, it’s a wrap for this amazing team! They played their hearts out in the World Series and impressed sooo many. It’s been a season full of non stop growth.
When you decide you’re going to start a brand new team, it’s a lot. Britton and Rob are part of the original Turn Two-boys- team down here, and someone said, Steph, you should really start a girls team. So we did-whole heartedly. A lot of learning, a lot of mistakes, and a lot of heart.
Putting this team together was a gift from God. He gave us the right kids, the right coaches, and the right parents and fan base.
To say that this team is special would be cutting it short a little. Most certainly the most special team that I have ever coached. Heart, grit, and determination.
They started off this season struggling to compete at all and I honestly questioned if I had made the right decision. But with months of work, months of determination and development, months of coaches giving their heart and knowledge, months of parents trusting the process……
Well, we became a very very strong team that was hard to beat and extremely competitive.
It has been an honor to coach all of these girls.
Each has a beautiful path ahead of them. I’m so proud and blessed to say that we did exactly what Turn Two is about. Growth, development, love, memories, and turned into a family.
