Shout out to the Warriors Football Teams for last weekends opening day. 8u and 10u put up a great fight but came up short at the end. The 11u team pulled out a decisive Win 35-0 against Fairhope Blue. Coaching staff wanted to pass on the players of the week.

⚽ 6/7U Soccer Evaluation Update ⚽

Attention 6/7U Soccer Parents!

We know this is short notice, but we are going to make an attempt to hold a 6/7U-only evaluation tomorrow at the SportsPlex on Bremen Road.

We recently secured enough volunteers to coach this age group, allowing us to move forward with the season. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we have worked to get enough coaches in place.

We’ll set the 6/7U schedule accordingly to make sure the kids have plenty of time to enjoy their season and get plenty of games in. ⚽

These teams need coaches before we can get the season started!

We are asking our soccer families and community to please STEP UP AND VOLUNTEER. You don’t have to be an expert soccer coach, we just need someone willing to give their time and help these kids have a season.

⚽ SOCCER UPDATE

**ATTENTION ALL SOCCER PARENTS**

We have met with the coaches who are currently available, and we are still short several coaches needed to make all of our teams.

We are currently looking for:

* 3 coaches for 4-5U
* 2 coaches for 6-7U
* 1 coach for Boys 10-11U

We are asking anyone who is willing to step up and volunteer to please consider coaching. These kids need coaches so they can have a soccer season!

Some coaches have already selected their teams, while others are waiting until we have enough coaches to move forward.

The quicker we can get volunteers, the quicker we can finalize teams and get the season moving.

Thank you to everyone who has already stepped up to help, and thank you to anyone willing to volunteer! ⚽

Unfortunately due to lighting not letting up the evals will be cancelled. The coaches will meet and select teams and will be getting in contact with their players. Sorry for the inconvenience.

⚽ SOCCER WEATHER UPDATE

We’ve been monitoring the weather closely, and it appears the weather should be moving through. After speaking with several coaches, we are going to attempt to hold evaluations tonight.

We-are pushing the start time back slightly to 6:30 PM and run the two older age groups simultaneously so that everyone can finish around the same time.

📍 Sportsplex on Bremen Road
Plan to arrive anytime between 6pm -6:30 PM. There is no need to rush—please take your time getting there.

Most importantly, use your best judgment. If you feel the weather is unsafe or conditions are too severe, please do not take any unnecessary risks. Your child will still be placed on a team and you will be notified by their coach at a later time.

We are watching the weather and will make the call in a few around 4:30. If we cancel it the coaches will still meet and draft so we can make teams.

Soccer Season Update ⚽

Good morning , soccer families!

Last night , our volunteer soccer coaches met to discuss plans for this year’s soccer season. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through this new adventure for Elberta Youth Sports!

We will hold a short player evaluation this Thursday so our coaches can get a better understanding of the players and begin organizing teams.

Evaluation Schedule:

* 5:30–6:15 PM: Ages 4–5U
* 6:15–7:00 PM: Ages 6–7U
* 7:00–7:45 PM: Ages 8–9U
**SportsPlex on Bremen rd on baseball field #8**

For our 8–9U and 10–11U age groups, we are currently working with Orange Beach and Gulf Shores as we are participating in an inter-city league.

Our 4–5U and 6–7U groups will participate locally here in Elberta, playing against other Elberta teams.

We are currently a few coaches short, so if you are a parent who may be willing to volunteer, please consider stepping up and talking with us this Thursday during evaluations. No experience is necessary, we just need a few people willing to help our kids have a great season!

🏈 Thank You, Warrior Families! 🖤🤍

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for equipment pickup and uniform fittings! Everything went very smoothly, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation.

A special thank you to all of our coaches and volunteers who gave their time to help make the evening such a success. We truly couldn’t do it without your dedication to our athletes and program!

If you were unable to attend, please contact me ASAP. We need to get everyone fitted as soon as possible, as we’ll be returning the sizing kits to the vendor very soon.

Also, we need everyone’s help! A pair of Youth Large football pants was accidentally taken home. These pants are part of the company’s borrowed sizing kit and must be returned. Please check your child’s equipment, your vehicle, and around your home. If you have them, please let us know, we just need to get them back with the rest of the kit.

Thank you all for helping us keep things organized. We’re excited to kick off an amazing season and can’t wait to watch our Warriors take the field! 🏈🖤🤍
