REAL TALK, whichever high school in American Samoa masters the art of field goal kicking this year could be the one to win it all. I went back and rewatched most of last season, and there were so many points left on the table because no one was investing in training their specialist players. 4th down from the 40-yard line… instead of punting, put 3 on the scoreboard. I’m just saying🤷🏽‍♂️

Talofa lava, family and friends! First and foremost, all glory and praise belong to God—never to us! Earlier this year, we reached out for support through our GoFundMe page, asking for donations and shares to help our boxing team.

Today, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you who contributed—whether by donating, sharing our post, or even just spreading the word. Special thanks to the Facebook groups that allowed us to advertise our story, and even to those that didn’t (lol)—every bit of awareness helped us move toward our goal.

The Lady Warriors dominated the pitch, bringing home both the JV and Varsity soccer championships!

One of the fautasi our Tautua team is most excited to watch in this year’s race hails from Alao, led by none other than—(Bruce Buffer voice) “The one, the only… High Chief Lili’o Satele!” (The one on the left)

If you grew up watching fautasi racing in the late 2000s, you know his name. From 2007 to 2009, it didn’t matter what village you repped—those were the years of one of the fastest fautasi to ever hit the waters. Now, after years away from the race, one of the best skippers in the game is making a comeback, this time with a whole new village—one still carving its name into fautasi history.

With Satele at the helm, Alao isn’t just here to compete—they’re here to shake up the race and prove they belong among the best.
