It's a great day for Effingham Wrestling! With the help of the Effingham Sportsbackers and the EHS Athletic Department, we were able to purchase 2 brand new competition mats. This will enable us to possibly host bigger tournaments in the future.

EHS Wrestling Camp
Grades: K through 12th both boys and girls
Focus: Wrestling Techniques. No experience required.
Dates: 6/22-6/25
Time: 5-7pm
Location: EHS Small Gym

Cost: $65 per participant
Must be made on the first day of camp. Please submit cash or check (made to EHS Wrestling) upon arrival.

This camp is hosted by EHS Wrestling and instruction will be given by EHS Wrestling Coaches. Participants do not need to attend Unit 40 schools to attend camp.

Camp hosted by EHS Wrestling and instructed by EHS Wrestling Coaches at Effingham High School, 1301 W. Grove Ave., Effingham, IL. Participants do not need to attend Effingham Unit 40 Schools.

We are so proud of all of our athletes! Congrats on a fantastic season! We celebrated our student athletes last night with delicious food from Lickin' My Chicken & Pullin' My Pork BBQ and Culver's! Thank you for supporting our team and community!

In Coach Jeremy Patnaude's first season as head coach, this year's wrestling team of 22 athletes set a school record for wins finishing 15-10 in duals.

Four wrestlers qualified for Sectionals, and two wrestlers, senior J. Lorton and freshman J. LeDuc, went on to compete in State with Lorton becoming the first wrestler to finish in the top 10! Lorton, LeDuc, and sophomore B. Stewart were voted 2nd Team All Apollo Conference.
