We are so proud of all of our athletes! Congrats on a fantastic season! We celebrated our student athletes last night with delicious food from Lickin' My Chicken & Pullin' My Pork BBQ and Culver's! Thank you for supporting our team and community!

In Coach Jeremy Patnaude's first season as head coach, this year's wrestling team of 22 athletes set a school record for wins finishing 15-10 in duals.

Four wrestlers qualified for Sectionals, and two wrestlers, senior J. Lorton and freshman J. LeDuc, went on to compete in State with Lorton becoming the first wrestler to finish in the top 10! Lorton, LeDuc, and sophomore B. Stewart were voted 2nd Team All Apollo Conference.

J. Lorton wrapped up his high school wrestling career today. He lost his match in the blood round putting him out of the running for a medal. He's had an incredible season with a final record of 40-10! He also made history as the first EHS wrestler to win two matches at the State Championships and place in the Top 8 in the state for his weight class. His sportsmanship and compassion for others is unmatched and was definitely on display these past few days.

Congratulations, Jeremiah! You've been a great leader and you will be missed in the wrestling room!

J. Lorton won both his Wrestlebacks today advancing him to the “Blood Round” tomorrow morning at 9 am! One step closer!

J. Lorton WON his 1st Round Match of Wrestlebacks this morning with a thrilling victory - bringing him one step closer to the podium! He wrestles again this afternoon in Round 2 of Wrestlebacks. Keep it going, Jeremiah! ❤️

So much to be proud of! What an incredible season this Freshman has had. Unfortunately, J. LeDuc's post season ride ended this morning at the State Championships bringing his record to 33-13. We are so proud of his journey and can't wait to see what his future wrestling career holds. ❤️
