Happy 250th from your favorite Dreamcatchers! How blessed to be in America and celebrating in Oklahoma right on Route 66! May we cherish our freedom and remember those who continue to protect it. Happy Fourth of July and let freedom ring!

These girls were non-stop twirling and pushing through the heat at LibertyFest Edmond's Fourth of July Festival parade. So proud of them all!!

Thank you to Liberty Fest Parade, Clay for answering my questions, the amazing parents for always taking care of everything, and Rhonda Long who assists in our groups!

We had some honorary Dreamcatchers today-Beth, our amazing banner holder and Lexi White, a former feature twirler at Marshall! Lexi and her mom, Rhonda got to twirl together today!

What a way to end the competition year with a bang! All our competition girls got to attend USTA Central Region Baton Council Regional Championships and had a great time!

We had some wins, top placements, and beyond! I cannot be more proud of our girls and their hard work. Witnessing one of our “comeback queens” absolutely shred it on the floor was such a special moment.

Getting video updates and pictures from the parents when routines are coming together, when special moments are made, when someone needs help, and when they are feeling proud makes every practice worth it. We even had two girls practicing at home AFTER this weekend of competition! WOW!!!

The thing that impresses me the most is the quality and humility of our Dreamcatcher families’ authentic selves. Their strength, support, understanding, and love is unmatched. I learned in college from my percussion professor that a person’s true self in an organization is first, then the skill is second. I’m so blessed God put these people in my life.

Thank you to the Dreamcatcher students and parents. Thank you to Lori Perkins, Emily Perkins Lisenby, and Melanie Falcon for answering all my questions and helping me. Thank you USTA Central Region Baton Council and all those involved.

So grateful for our first ever Baton Camp! This was a camp just for our Dreamcatchers who were ready to further their skills. Each day, the girls learned a dance/acro portion from Coach Emily Perkins Lisenby and a twirling portion from me, Coach Stephanie! We also had Coach Rhonda Long assisting!!

Thank you to Emily Perkins Lisenby from Oklahoma Baton Twirling Academy for your awesome dance/acro coaching! Thank you to Rhonda Long for your expertise! Thank you to the parents for taking the time out of your days to bring your children. And thank you to the students!! Your hard work and dedication shined! Congratulations to ALL our Dreamcatchers for a fine performance at the Edmond Arts Festival this past weekend!

We had nine soloists, one duet, one beginning group, and finished with our intermediate group. I can’t believe this is the marker to us completing one full year as Edmond Baton Twirling Academy and an end to this year!
