Preparing for labor isn’t just for the final few days 🤍🤰

These movements can help with hip mobility, strength, and preparing your body for labor. I’ve been incorporating them into my routine, with control, and always listening to my body. ✨

Training during pregnancy has looked a little different for me 🤰🏼💪🏼💆🏼‍♀️🤍 (27 weeks)

Lately, I’ve been intentionally putting my body in challenging and sometimes uncomfortable positions—not to push past my limits, but to practice staying calm, breathing, and working through discomfort.

Birth will ask a lot from my body, and I want to prepare both physically and mentally. Every workout is another opportunity to build strength, mobility, endurance, and trust in what my body can do. 🤍

Preparing for birth, one workout at a time. 👶🏼✨

6 things I’ve learned in 6 months of pregnancy 🤍

1. The gym has become so much more than just working out.
I’ve learned to listen to my body, slow down when I need to, and appreciate everything it’s capable of. Staying active during pregnancy has made me feel strong, confident, and even more connected to my changing body. 🫶🏻
2. Every pregnancy is SO different.
I stopped comparing my bump, my weight, my energy levels, and my experience to everyone else’s. There really is no “perfect” way to be pregnant.
3. Moving my body has become something I do for my mind, not just my body.
Some days I have a great workout, other days just showing up is enough. I’ve learned that consistency can look different in every season.
4. Rest is productive too.
This one has been hard for me. 😂 I’m learning that slowing down doesn’t mean I’m being lazy. My body is literally growing a whole human.
5. Nothing prepares you for feeling your baby move.
Those little kicks somehow make everything feel real. No matter what kind of day I’m having, feeling her move instantly reminds me how lucky I am. 🥹🎀
6. You can love pregnancy and still admit that it’s hard.
You can be grateful AND tired. Excited AND overwhelmed. Confident one day and emotional the next. All of those feelings can exist at the same time.

6 months down, and somehow I feel like I’ve already learned so much about my body, my mindset, and myself. 🤍

Mamas, what’s one thing pregnancy taught you that nobody warned you about? 👇🏼
