Watch me compete at PGF Oct. 30th-Nov. 4th
If your not familiar with the PGF, it’s a grappling event host by .ninja . Basically, your drafted to a team and compete 3 times a day for 4 days. You get 6 points for choke submissions, 3 for joint locks, and 0 if the match goes to time(no points or OT). You score points for your team, and the 8 highest scorers make it to the playoff tournament at the end which is 10 min ebi ruleset with a 1000$ cash prize.
Additionally, the draft involves competitors receiving actual money as teams bid using their 2500$ war chest. Right now, I’m ranked #3 most valuable competitor, but I think by the time we get to the bidding people will understand that The Minnesota Maniac is a force to be reckoned with and the bidding will reflect that.
I’m calling it now: my anaconda choke will be the single highest scoring submission in this seasons PGF. I’m no dark horse. Myself and are the two favorites to win it all, the safe bets that are all but guaranteed to rack up 6’s on the scoreboards.
With that said, allow me to make one more prediction: My team mentality and love for the sport is going to help push my team to victory, and I’m going to be recognized as the MVP of the season regardless of the outcome of the final tournament. The most commonly overlooked aspect of team sports is mentality, who’s got that dog in them and who’s got the attitude to bring the dog out of other people. I’m here to say that for as long as I’m in the PGF, the team that I am recruited to is going to get my full support as a friend and as a team mate.
