THE MOVEMENT is officially launching. 💃🪩🕺

More than a drop-in class. Less of the time and financial commitment of a traditional dance team.

The Movement by Kilolo Dance Co. is a new adult commercial hip-hop performance community for experienced dancers who want to keep learning, challenging themselves, performing and connecting with other people who love to dance.

Whether you grew up dancing, took some time away, or found dance later, if dance is something that makes you feel alive, this might be for you.

📍 KDC Workshops + Rehearsals will be held at 17 Lewis St., Eatontown, NJ.

💜 FOUNDING MEMBER RATE: $89/MONTH
Join by September 12 to lock in the $89/month Founding Member Rate for as long as your membership remains continuously active.

After September 12, membership is $115/month, space permitting.

✨ Adults 21+
✨ Prior dance/movement experience required
✨ No official tryouts, although attending a KDC Workshop is highly recommended
✨ Initial 3-month commitment
✨ Limited to just 15 members

Once all 15 spots are filled, enrollment closes. If a spot opens in the future, new members can join at the current membership rate.

One of the things that's different about adults than kids when I teach dance is the time it takes to let go. We always start with a center warm-up to make sure the body is fully ready to prevent any type of injuries and build the necessary strength and flexibility for Dancing and then we follow it with across the floor movement that lets the body really start to express and then go into choreography and finish with filming.

Creating a fun, educational and healthy environment is what Kilolo Dance Co. is all about. And for adults that work and have a lot going on in their day sometimes they need that first 30 minutes to just get out of the funk. And when they become fully present in their body they're able to fully let go, so does their day. One of my favorites things I hear from my students at the end of the class, is "I so needed that." Dance allows us to not only be physically active, but to emotionally express in a way not many other things don't.

So come dance. Let it out! 🙌🙂💜

The movie You Got Served is still one of my favorite dance movies ever! It came out in 2004 and every time I hear this song I can't help but get hyped!

Decided to teach a little choreography I created to this awesome piece of music in my open level adult commercial hip-hop class. A little different than what I've done usually, and musically a bit challenging for the class at first, but they killed it! We are ready for our dance battle! 😉
