Good Morning. I have made the difficult decision to step down as the head baseball coach at Oak Hill.
I have other parts of my life that are in need of my attention and focus. Oak Hill High School Baseball is a championship caliber baseball program, which deserves an amount attention that I am no longer willing to give.
I want to thank everyone that has been part of this 8 year journey. My family, first and foremost for the sacrifices that they were willing to give for me to go on this journey. Caleb could have said No and I wouldn’t have even applied back in 2017 but he was willing to go in this together. Being the coaches kid can really suck, but you were awesome about it and gave us memories to last a lifetime. Mateja spent more nights in dugouts, cars, or equipment sheds than not over the majority of her student life so that I could be at practices and games. You never complained and made it very easy on me. Kelli supported me through every win, loss, and the endless schedule changes that come with baseball. You made it all work
I want to the thank the men that decided to join my staff over the 8 years, particularly Coach Chad Drouin. You gave me my first shot at coaching 25 years ago and we have had some of the best memories in the dugout that I could ever imagine.
Mostly I want to thank the young men that I had the privilege to coach over the past 8 years. I was truly blessed to spend so much time with you. You pushed me to be a better coach.
Coaching Baseball at Oak Hill High School was a dream come true for me.
Thank You
Chad Stowell
