2026 Team Finals Race of Champions bye run.

10/19/2026

🏁 2026 Team Finals are complete! 🏁
I-57 Raceway put on a great event, and we had an absolute blast!

Gavin didn’t have the luck he was hoping for in the Gamblers Race or the Main Event, but he had a great showing in the Race of Champions, finishing 2nd! 🥈🏆

The Race of Champions brings together the 1st-place champions from all five competing tracks to race it out. Gavin caught a lucky break with a bye into the finals, where he gave it his all but broke out. Still, coming home Runner-Up in the Race of Champions is something we are incredibly proud of! ❤️🏁

More than anything, we’re thankful for another weekend spent with our race family, . We may be a little biased, but we truly believe we have the BEST team around! Our team won Best Appearing Team! 🏆🙌

Now it’s time to turn our attention to the World Finals in Norwalk, Ohio, this weekend! 🌎🏁

Since we’ve been home, Gavin has been busy making a few modifications and going over the car from front to back to get everything ready for the next race. One thing about Gavin—There’s always something more to learn, and he’s willing to put in the work to keep improving both himself and his car. 🔧🏁

Wish us luck, and please say a prayer for safe travels, safe racing, and a great showing for our boy. We’re ready to see what Gavin can do on the big stage! ❤️

WHAT. A. SEASON. 🏁🔥🏆

Last night Gavin finished 2nd in the final points race, had his first ever quadruple zero — a PERFECT reaction time in 3rd round! 🎯🔥

And the biggest accomplishment of the season… GAVIN IS YOUR 2026 JUNIOR DRAGSTER POINTS CHAMPION! 🥇🏆
AND he is officially headed to the World Finals for the 4th year in a row! 🌎🏁

Gavin does the majority of the work on his car — prepping between rounds, swapping parts when needed, and doing whatever it takes to get back down the track. He is absolutely ate up with racing, and it's so amazing watching his hard work and passion pay off. ❤️

Racing isn't just something he does… it's something he absolutely loves. The time, work and dedication he puts into learning this sport is incredible to watch. Seeing all of that hard work come together to earn a season championship and another trip to the World Finals makes us unbelievably proud. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported Gavin and Jones Racing throughout this season — every sponsor, family member, friend, fellow racer, and supporter who has cheered him on, helped him in the pits, offered advice, or simply believed in him. We truly couldn't do this without you!

What a way to finish the points season! 🏁🔥

It was a hot one yesterday but Gavin went some rounds last night doing what he loves. He drew the bi to the finals where he kicked it red for 2nd place.

So hard to believe the summer is almost over and we are down to 2 points races left for the season. ❤️

We had a great weekend supporting our race family at the Ashton Skelton Memorial Race. Gavin placed 2nd against Miley who drove Ashton’s old Junior to the winners circle. ❤️

Enjoy some clips from this weekend of Gavin doing what he loves.

Thanks to Tom Derry for the amazing parachute shots! ❤️

Outlaw Syndicate Junior Final

06/14/2026

Gavin picked up the win in the Outlaw Syndicate Junior Class. What an amazing experience!

Skelton Raceway, Ryan Martin and Shawn Ellington put on one heck of a show.

We're so proud of the hard work, dedication, and determination Gavin continues to show every time he straps into the car.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports him, cheers him on, and helps make these opportunities possible. Congratulations, Gavin! 🏆💙

Congratulations to Gavin Jones on winning the first points race of the season at our home track, Skelton Raceway! 🏁

Gavin was on a mission all day in a field of 17 cars and was especially proud to bring home the Richard Miller Memorial plaque. 🏆❤️

A huge thank you to the Reichardt family for donating fuel so Gavin could race yesterday, to our uncle Kenneth Shankle for always keeping Gavin’s motors running strong and so much more, and to Kenneth Burrow for always supporting Gavin and helping keep this program going. We’re truly blessed with such an amazing racing family and support system at the track. ❤️

We ventured over to Beacon Dragway yesterday, and Gavin made it count—bringing home a 2nd place finish!

It wasn’t easy. With 3 cars left, he earned the bye run heading into the finals, but things got intense at the staging line when the header came loose. No time to waste—he had to break the beams and hustle back to the trailer for a quick fix before the finals. We’re proud of the way he handled the situation and kept his focus and determination.

Huge congrats to the racer we faced in the finals on his FIRST win—those moments are what it’s all about. This sport is about more than wins and losses, it’s about supporting each other, celebrating the victories, and making friends along the way. 👏🏁

So proud of Gavin and the fight he showed all day. This kid is all heart. 💪🔥 Always learning, always pushing forward. On to the next one! 🔥

Thank you to our family, friends, and supporters who cheer him on every step of the way. It truly means everything. ❤️🏁
