Hikeolution will be joining the Sisters Helping Sisters in Christ Ministry for an evening stroll around Orange Reservoir (West Orange, NJ). We invite women to come walk and talk with us as we prioritize our physical, mental and spiritual health. So come, let us fellowship one with another.

Refresh your mind, body, and soul with a slow guided walk in nature.

*What to expect: A standard sequence of forest bathing invitations to help awaken your senses, encourage you to slow down, be present, and connect you with your surroundings.

*This walk is less than 2 miles and meanders through Branch Brook Park.

We invite you to get outdoors with us this weekend. Nature is calling! ✌🏾❤️🥾🌳👣
*On Saturday 8/1, we'll be at Eagle Rock Reservation with an event in collaboration with Newark Center for Meditative Culture. This beginner friendly hike will be combined with some gentle "movement medicine" facilitated by Kazi.
*Then on Sunday 8/2, we're heading to Watchung Reservation for a group hike on the various trails there. (Beginner friendly as well). Whether you come out to one or both, we'd love to see you there! 😎

🚧 Essex County South Mountain Reservation Updates 🚧

Please be advised of the following temporary closures and impacts within Essex County South Mountain Reservation:

River Trail – Parts of the trail are closed due to ongoing construction. Please follow all posted detour routes for your safety.

Locust Grove Parking Lot – Temporarily closed. Visitors are encouraged to use alternate parking areas within the reservation.

Rahway Fairy Trail – Closed due to ongoing construction. Some fairy homes have been temporarily removed due to nearby construction activities. We appreciate your patience as improvements are completed and look forward to welcoming the fairy residents back soon.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to improve and maintain Essex County South Mountain Reservation. Please obey all posted signs and barriers during your visit.
