Just like old times……

We finished 4th in our heat and will be starting 10th in the feature.

If you knew Greg, you knew he was one of the greatest. He was more than a cousin, but someone we looked up to. He was gentle and kind and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He had a passion for racing and for his family. On many occasions we would end up at Greg’s garage for pointers, parts and good conversation.

Some people say our driving style is similar, but he was a driver nobody could compare to. He was courteous even when he was faster, he’d wait for the right moment and then dominate the race. Known for being a bottom feeder, he made racing look so graceful.

Greg was more than a racer he was our cousin, brother, son, husband, friend and competition. He was loved by so many of us, and he’s missed today as much as the day he left us.

We want to honor Greg tonight but we do it every night. When we show up to the track, make space for our kids with this hobby, and show sportsmanship to other teams.

Greg was the best, there won’t be another like him. We hope to see everyone at East Moline tonight.

Another night of bad luck. Whether it was the transmission or the clutch one of them wasn’t right and it was best for us to pull off before any more damage was done.

Not the finish we hoped for on championship night and with the car feeling so fast. But we’ll get back at it and get her ready for this Sunday.

We hope to see everyone at the Greg Durbin Memorial Race. Our cousin was a good man with a love for racing, and we can’t wait to honor him.
