An East Hartford native, Madisyn Vera, returns home to shape the next generation of East Hartford Softball. Vera grew up with East Hartford Little League, being part of the district championship team in 2016. She was a softball captain at EHHS, earning the 2021 MVP for Hornets Softball and the 2021 CIAC Scholar-Athlete Award. She played competitive travel softball for CT Diamond Club out of East Hartford, and moved on to play at the collegiate level at Bay Path University, where she had a decorated career. Vera was a three year captain, two time USCAA All-American, and 2025 USCAA Player of the Year, finishing in the top 10 of all career offensive and defensive school records. She graduated college with a 4.0 as a highly involved campus leader, honors student, and student-athlete!
Now, Coach Madi is giving back, passionate about building East Hartford Softball and passing on her skills and mentorship to the next generation.
