7/25 Race recap
The pits were packed and the sun was HOT for the Kangamangus 112 at White Mountain Motorsports Park
After only a handful of laps in the first practice, one of the cars lost an engine cutting it short. G came in and was complaining of a tight car. After a couple small adjustments the car was better for round 2 but still a little snug.
Lining up last row for the heat race we were hopeful our last adjustment would get G and the 56x machine where he wanted to be. From the drop of the green flag it was evident that it did. G was able to slice and dice through the field avoiding a couple wrecks and run away with the lead coming across the stripe P1 after 8 laps. 🏁
Feature time rolled around and G line the 56x up P9 for 15laps. At the drop of the green flag the insode line fell back a little but G was able to work his way up through the field and avoid a few cautions once again but unfortunately had heated the tires up quite a bit getting there. Re-starting P2 on a late race restart he had a good battle with the P3 car but ultimately didn't have anything left and fell back to 3rd where he would finish. 🥉
That's 5 podium finishes in the last 5 races at 2 different tracks from the rear of the field every week. 💥 Were happy to be back on a roll after a couple mechanical issues leading up to this streak and happy where were at going into Milton Cat 250 weekend! We are back in action this weekend Aug 1st for the biggest race of the year at the mountain! We hope you all can make it out to witness the action in person! But if you can't be sure to tune into NESTN!
Without all our sponsors none of this would be possible! Thank you all so much for the continued support!
