We’re excited to have International Master Dr. Kenneth Regan joining us at our Monthly Quads Tournament this Saturday, August 1st!

A programming professor at UB and former member of the Anti-Cheating Committee of the World Chess Federation, Dr. Regan is well-known in the chess community for his work preventing cheating in professional chess. From writing and editing anti-cheating guidelines, to developing cheat detection software used by FIDE and popular chess websites, Dr. Regan’s contributions have greatly improved the chess community at large!

If two opponents challenged you at the same time, what would you do? For Rory S. at summer chess camp, the answer was easy: play both!

Not only did Rory play well on both boards, he also offered guidance to the less experienced player. Great sportsmanship, and way to go, Rory!
