Life is a head game. Let's face it. Why would working out and changing our behaviors be much different??? How many of us look at the clock during workingout... and tell ourselves... "okay 10 mins left... so that is 2 mins 5 times..." Or "I have twelve reps... that is only 4 reps 3 times." We are mentally prepping ourselves.We are breaking the larger picture down into smaller, more accomplishable steps. It helps us to not be overwhelmed. If you struggle and need this processing, know you are NOT alone. This mental prepping is often very helpful with implementing changes. In other words, if you want permanent changes... I encourage you to make small, healthy, sustainable adjustments in your life.
