Kids Camp Performance Reminder! 📣💚

Join us at the DTHS home football game on Friday, August 28. The game begins at 7:00 PM.

Please drop off your child behind the bleachers/stands at 5:45 PM for practice and warmups.

Parents, please plan to hang out during warmups. Once the kids are finished warming up, we will have them go back with you to sit in the stands until they are called down to the track for their performance.

Attire: Kids Camp T-shirt, black shorts or leggings, and gym shoes. Girls may wear a bow. 🎀

The kids will perform on the sidelines during the first half and join the DTHS Cheerleaders on the field at halftime.

Kids may leave after halftime, or families may stay for the rest of the game. We can’t wait to see everyone perform! 💚📣

It was such a pleasure hosting all of the children for Kids Camp! 💚

The kids were sent home with the T-shirt they will wear for their performance on Friday, August 28th.

Here are the details for game day:

Game time: 7:00 PM
Drop-off: 5:45 PM behind the bleachers/stands for practice and review
What to wear: Kids Camp T-shirt, black shorts or leggings, and gym shoes
Girls are welcome to wear a bow if they’d like! 🎀

During the first half of the game, the kids will be brought onto the sidelines to perform the cheer they learned at camp for all of the fans. At halftime, they’ll head onto the field to perform with the DTHS Cheerleaders! 📣

The kids may leave after the halftime performance, but you’re more than welcome to stay and enjoy the rest of the game!

💚DTHS Cheer Kids Camp Information🤍

We are excited to see everyone at Kids Camp!

Camp Dates: August 10–14
Time: 8:15–9:30 AM

🚨LOCATION CHANGE:📣
Due to DCS not currently being available, camp will be held at the DTHS Practice Facility.

Please note the following:

* Arrival: Please do not arrive earlier than 8:00 AM.
* Parking: Please avoid parking in any areas that are blocked off for repainting.
* Check-In: Children will be checked in, receive a name tag, and be escorted to their age group by a DTHS cheerleader.
* Parents: Parents are welcome to remain outside during camp, but for the safety of all participants, no one will be permitted to stay inside the building. Coaches will be present with the campers at all times and will have parent/guardian phone numbers on file should we need to contact you during camp.
* What to Wear: Please have your child wear comfortable clothes, socks, and gym shoes each day.
* Water Bottle: Please send your child with a water bottle clearly labeled with their name.
* Pick-Up: Camp concludes each day at 9:30 AM.

Performance:
Camp participants will perform at the August 28th home opener football game. More details about the performance will be sent out at the end of camp week.

On Monday and Tuesday, DTHS cheer had their first ever NCA cheer camp, where we learned many new skills and practiced our crowd work. We can't wait to show off all of our new skills this season! Thank you to NCA and the great staff members who were with us for both long days 💚
