First IHRA race of the season to close out 2025 because why not end the year where it all started.

We qualified in the top half of the field with a 3.627 @ 208.59 and got by Jason Lee first round with a 3.642 @ 207.91 to his 3.672.

Under the impression we had plenty of time, we were all quite surprised when they called second round of Pro Mod. I was prepping dinner when I heard the call, said a not-so-nice word immediately dropping the knife I was using to prep dinner and rushed outside to see Chuck grinding on a new rear, car obviously in pieces.

If I know one thing about my husband sure-as-sh*t, it’s that he’s not about to miss a round. And I’d put him, Keaton, and Keith up against anyone when it comes to a thrash. Bubba Stanton noticed the commotion and jumped right in to help get everything back together so Chuck could focus on the tune-up.

We didn’t end up having enough for Ed Burnley and Tony Wilson second round, but considering our “they’re calling us now…?” moment, I’m still considering it a success.

So we’re headed home after a solid weekend. Good laps, great people, and plenty to build on.

Keaton & Keith, thank you for always being there for Chuck in every way.

Overdue, but here we are.

Chuck and I skipped a couple races this summer…life had other plans.

We did make it to Cecil County Dragway for The 2025 Yellowbullet Nationals. On Friday during Q1, Chuck ran his personal best — 3.584 @ 210.31 — and topped the first session. Moments we celebrate.

He qualified fourth and faced #11 Steve Gorman first round. Long story short, he tagged the right side wall and lost. Moments we push through.

Repairs are already underway, and we can’t thank Henry Fryfogle and Bruce Mullins enough for all they do to keep us moving forward.

We’ll miss this weekend’s PDRA race at GALOT, but hope to make it to VMP and to the Pro Mod Invitational (if invited) at Cecil.

To Keaton, Keith, Pop, Kole, and the Weddles — thank you for being there for Chuck in every way.

To our friends and family who cheer us on at the track and through the livestreams, we feel your support every step of the way.

Our weekend at the PDRA North-South Shootout came to an end in the second round against Johnny Camp.

We started things off strong with a clean 3.672 @ 208 right off the trailer Thursday morning during testing. Unfortunately, the next pass didn’t make it down the track—but that may have been a blessing in disguise. We discovered a major leak under the rear that turned out to be a cracked case and a broken end bell.

Parts were overnighted from Colorado, and we got to work cleaning everything up while we waited. Reinforcements—and the parts Chuck needed—showed up Friday morning at 9:40 AM, and less than two hours later, we were warming the car up for Q1.

Seeing the car go straight down the track after all that work, good enough for the #3 spot at the time, was something else. We ended up qualifying #7 out of 22 cars with a solid 3.687 @ 206.

In eliminations, we faced our friend Tommy Gray first round and took the win on a holeshot. Missed the tune-up against Johnny Camp in round two, but we’re headed home with our heads held high.

A friend said to me this weekend that they wished Chuck could get extra credit for doing it on his own. The truth is, Chuck knows exactly who he’s up against in the shark tank that is Pro Boost—and he continues to hold his own.

It’s been a challenging year, but we’re here, giving every race everything we’ve got.

PDRA Travis Mills Foundation Mid-Atlantic Showdown at Virginia Motorsports Park.

Testing: Eventful. It’s always busy when it’s just the two of us. Thankful that we can always count on Jeff and Brian Weddle to be there when we need it. T3 saw a valve seat trying to make a run towards multiple potential exits. Chuck saw 4am before the car was back in one piece. Vince, Tommy and Keaton I owe y’all for being there for him.

Qualifying: Tough. Bumped our way into the field during Q3 with a much needed 3.67 run and managed to hold on to the number eleven spot.

First round: Missed it up front and didn’t have enough in it to take down Melanie.

Good news: We can say for sure that Chuck found the culprit behind the steering issues and it’s all fixed. The car is safe and drivable again. Now it’s time to focus on getting her fast again.

Made the quick trip last night/this morning down to Rockingham for Pro Mods at the Rock.

Qualified with a 3.699 but made the decision to sit out first round due to major problems we’re experiencing with the car.

Qualifying is complete for us at the PDRA Racing World Finals!

We stayed #11 as we weren’t able to better our 3.603 from the first qualifier.

Tyler Crossnoe said it. “Pro Boost = Shark Tank.”
