Challenging couple of days coaching in the heat! A great group of students made it worth it! 9 new riders joined the community this week! Congrats to all of them! The heat was hard to work with, but they worked through it! Coaching in the heat reminds me that we need to be properly prepared for the weather when we ride. Hydrate, take brakes, dress in layers, and always check the weather before going out on that ride! All the right gear all the time!

of LAMA! Yesterday I was at the LAMA Perth Amboy anniversary party in NJ. Great time with the brothers and sisters! Took a little time to walk through the parked bikes and picked out a few of my favorites. I think I was the only person on an adventure bike though! the lady in the pink bike dressed like Barbie is not a member of LAMA! 🤣

I love cows! There I was, in 2021 somewhere in the mid west, maybe Wyoming or Idaho! Can’t really remember, as we were halfway through our 22 state, 10k mile round the US 🏍️ tour! Goofing around because we had been walking for a few miles and there was nothing else to do!

Maintenance day. Replacing a wonderwheel on the R1250 GS Adventure is easier than expected! A few screws, $268 replacement part, and 30 minutes, and you’re done! Save an hour or two of labor costs. Check the wires for all the connectors before closing up. One of mine was pinched, but not broken. Wrapped it with electrical tape to help keep it from fraying.
