The pop up concession stand at last nights football game was a huge success. I cannot thank those who helped working to serve fans or donating baked goods enough. I don’t want to leave anyone out and I apologize if I do but Vivian Hartsell Rogers, Doug and Ashton, Nakisha Bledsoe Akers Nathanial Akers Vickie Duncan Payton Darnell Patricia Edwards Jean Carter David Carter Lindsey Crabtree Strohofer Kacy Edwards complete ROCKSTARS!

We took a gamble and with no way to keep things warm I didn’t order a ton of pizza but when they were gone, I called back to Domino's Pizza of Abingdon and Tim Hurds crew went above and beyond to crank out more pizza fast. I could have probably tripled what I ordered and sold out in the end.

Our girls and I have plenty to be thankful for and supporting what we do headed into the 2027 season.

These young ladies put in the work. When it may not be going as they liked they asked for more. The desire to get better and have each others backs led to this seasons success. Most counted this bunch out heading into the season. The main goal of the season was to make regionals. They put their heads down and accomplished it through a lot of adversity. Once we made regionals, it was a focus on extending the season another day. They were able to extend it to be one of the last four left in our region.

The best thing is we got them all back next year. No time to sit back and be happy about it. Let’s get ready for 2027 and work to extend the season even further.
