November is Native American Heritage Month, and in keeping, I have a piece on Lake of Isles Golf Course, which is owned by the Mashantucket-Pequot Tribal Council. Really enjoyed working one this, in part because I had a number of phone conversations with Rees Jones, which was a treat. Also had great help from the Tribal Council as well. Enjoy and feel free to share.

Perfect holiday gift for the golfer who love the history of the game:

"BRILLIANT book - not only about golf. Native American history brought to life! Native Links is a very well researched and accessible book about the history of golf in Indian Country ! Mark Wagner has a very readable and relatable writing style. His stories of the early days of golf in the United States - and the important parts that Native American golfers played in it are very informative and interesting. This is a great book for anyone who is a fan of golf, anyone who is a Native American history buff, and for anyone who wants to explore either of those fascinating topics to see how they intersect! Highly recommended!" William Black of NDN All Stars writes:
