Ohio Queen of Diamonds 10U Tournament Champions! 🏆🥎

After playing one game Friday night and then being rained out on Saturday, these girls were back at it yesterday. They started their day at 9:00 a.m. and didn't finish the championship game until just before 9:00 p.m.

The team battled through four games in the scorching heat, including a championship game with no time limit. Five hard-fought innings later, with the sun quickly setting around us, they finished the day exactly where they belonged—on top as tournament champions!

I couldn't be more proud of each and every one of these girls. Their determination, resilience, and teamwork were on full display all weekend long.

Nora Zakowski lead the team offensively hitting .455 w 7 RBI’s along with Macy Mullins who hit .400 with a double and a couple of runs batted in. Presley Purcell chipped in with a perfectly timed su***de squeeze scoring Zakowski.

The team may have had their best weekend defensively Selah Foster, Jayalah Seldon and Chloe Biggs each made huge defensive plays to kill rallies.

In the circle Macy Mullins racked up her 200th strikeout and earned a pair of victories. Charlotte French and Mia Martinez also added key wins.

Nice long weekend of softball. These young ladies went 6-0 with a couple wins over a very good a Miami Valley Legends team (11-3, 9-1)and a pair over the Indiana Hustle (2-1, 4-3).
Highlights:
Macy Mullins - 3-0 record with 41k’s and 0 walks
Charlotte French, Skylar Coleman and Mia Martinez each collected wins on the circle allowing only 3 earned runs combined.
Offensively, Charlotte French lead the way hitting .375 with a 3 doubles and RBI’s scoring 11 runs. Chloe Biggs added 3 hits with a huge basesloaded triple finishing a 5 RBI’s. Macy Mullins, Addison Sever and Gabby Brown each hit .357. Brown and Nora Zakowski lead the team with 6 RBI’s.

The team heads to Findlay, Ohio for the Queen of Diamonds tournament before heading south to Tennessee.
