“I love you”
We sang it at church this morning—over and over:
“I love you, I love you, I love you.”
It’s a simple phrase, our way of expressing gratitude and devotion to Jesus.
But I wonder how often we pause long enough to hear Him say it back.
No conditions.
No proving.
No shame.
Just a quiet whisper that meets us in the middle of our mess,
from a kind Father to His child:
“I love YOU.”
Tonight, as I turn in for the evening, this mug is reminding me of that.
Simple.
Powerful.
Comforting.
He loves me.
Sometimes that’s all we need—to remember:
He loves me.
And I love Him.
Sometimes, that’s enough.
If your soul feels noisy, try this:
Take 30 seconds. Breathe deep. Let everything pause for a moment.
Say “I love you” to Jesus—and let it settle over your soul.
Then ask Him,
“What do You want me to hear tonight?”
You might be surprised how quickly He says it right back to you—
His child, in whom He delights
