When life feels like a dumpster fire, it's easy to assume I need something big to anchor me.

A breakthrough.

A powerful prayer time where God speaks and it's exactly what I needed to hear.

An encounter with God that makes the fear, anxiety, disappointment, or overwhelm disappear.

But most of the time, I don't get those things right away.

What I do have is a small next step.

🤍 One honest prayer

🤍 One worship song

🤍 One Scripture

🤍 One walk

🤍 One conversation

Small things may not seem like much in the moment, but they have a way of bringing us back to what matters most.

Maybe staying connected to Jesus isn't about having it all together.

Maybe it's about returning to Him in small ways, over and over again.

And maybe those small moments matter more than we think.

What's one small thing that helps you reconnect with God when life feels like a dumpster fire? 🔥 I'd love to hear👇

“I love you”

We sang it at church this morning—over and over:
“I love you, I love you, I love you.”

It’s a simple phrase, our way of expressing gratitude and devotion to Jesus.
But I wonder how often we pause long enough to hear Him say it back.

No conditions.
No proving.
No shame.

Just a quiet whisper that meets us in the middle of our mess,
from a kind Father to His child:
“I love YOU.”

Tonight, as I turn in for the evening, this mug is reminding me of that.

Simple.
Powerful.
Comforting.

He loves me.
Sometimes that’s all we need—to remember:
He loves me.
And I love Him.
Sometimes, that’s enough.

If your soul feels noisy, try this:
Take 30 seconds. Breathe deep. Let everything pause for a moment.
Say “I love you” to Jesus—and let it settle over your soul.

Then ask Him,
“What do You want me to hear tonight?”

You might be surprised how quickly He says it right back to you—
His child, in whom He delights
