Big news for Dripping Springs families! 🏀🏐⚽

Academy Sports + Outdoors is opening a 50,000 sq ft store at Headwaters, right next door to the future home of Dripping Springs Sports Club. We couldn't be more excited to welcome them to the neighborhood!

Here's why we love it:

🛒 One stop for the whole season. Grab new cleats, knee pads or a water bottle at Academy, then walk next door for practice. No more racing across town the night before tryouts.

👟 Gear that matches the game. Our flagship will have two gyms (4 basketball / 8 volleyball courts), outdoor sports space, a suspended running track and fitness, training and recovery. Academy carries the gear to go with all of it.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 More reasons to stay local. Families in western Hays County drive to Austin for gear, games and training. Having both right here on 290 keeps more of that time, and those dollars, in Dripping Springs.

🌱 A growing hub for active families. Endeavor's Headwaters East is shaping up to be a real destination: shops, restaurants and now a major sports retailer, all built around a home for youth and adult sports.

DSSC opens in August 2028, with 211,000 sq ft of courts, fields, fitness and community on 11.5 acres. We can't wait to share the block with Academy.

Welcome to Dripping Springs, Academy! 🧡

🌮 WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD, TACODELI! 🌮

We’re incredibly excited to welcome Tacodeli to Headwaters East! They’ve officially executed their lease and will be joining Dripping Springs Sports Club in the new Headwaters East development.

As an Austin-born company, Tacodeli is exactly the kind of local business we’re excited to see —great food, a great brand, and another gathering place for the Dripping Springs community.

And selfishly… having great tacos and Doña Sauce steps away from DSSC may be dangerous. My all time order? The Jess Special with Chorizo! 😂🌮

We’re building Headwaters East to be more than just a sports destination. We want it to be a place where sports, food, families, and community come together, and Tacodeli is an awesome addition to that vision.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Taco Deli! We can’t wait! 💚🌮
