That’s a wrap on our Lonestar Navy season.

Today, these girls battled their way to a 2nd place finish, and while the hardware is nice, it’s the journey that means the most.

When asked to describe this team, the girls chose words like:

✨ Crazy
✨ Unstoppable
✨ Ferocious
✨ Hard-Working
✨ Fantastic
✨ Fun
✨ Supportive
✨ Grit
✨ Competitive
✨ Winners

And they were right.

This season wasn’t just about wins and losses. It was about growth. It was about a group of girls who showed up every weekend ready to learn, compete, and give everything they had for each other. We watched confidence grow, skills sharpen, friendships deepen, and memories be made that will last far beyond the softball field.

There were incredible milestones along the way—pitching records, home runs, clutch plays, extra-inning battles, tournament championships, and moments that reminded us why we love this game. But the greatest accomplishment was watching each player become a stronger athlete, teammate, and player!

A few team superlatives that deserve one last shoutout:

🕺 Sadie for the best dance moves that kept us entertained all season long.

📣 Harper and Reagan for making sure nobody could ever accuse our dugout of being quiet.

😂 Sadie, Emma, and Scarlett for keeping everyone laughing, no matter the situation.

To our players: thank you for your effort, your heart, your toughness, and your willingness to always put the team first. You made us proud every single game.

To our families: thank you for the early mornings, long weekends, endless support, and for cheering these girls on every step of the way.

And if this season taught us anything, it’s that this group is truly crazy, unstoppable, ferocious, hard-working, supportive, competitive, and full of grit.

We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you!!

Reagan joined us later in the season, but she quickly became an important part of this team. Whether she’s holding it down behind the plate, showing off her strong arm in the outfield, or stepping up to the plate with confidence, Reagan makes an impact wherever she’s on the field. She has delivered some impressive hard-hit balls this season—including a home run—and has been a great teammate from day one. We’re excited to have Reagan in Navy and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next! 💙🥎🔥

Scarlett is an absolute powerhouse behind the plate and has made tremendous strides as a catcher this season. While many know she missed nine weeks with a fractured ankle, what stands out even more is the determination she showed during her recovery and her return to the field. She came back with the same toughness that makes her such a valuable part of this team.

In her very first game back, Scarlett reminded everyone what she’s capable of by throwing out a runner attempting to steal second—and she did it again this morning! 💪🏼 🔥

We’re proud to have #9 back behind the dish and doing what she does best. Keep working hard, Scar—we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! 💙⚓🥎

Jacquelyn has been a key part of our defense at second base this season. She has made countless great plays, snagging line drives and tracking down pop-ups with confidence. At the plate, she’s become one of our most reliable bunters, laying down some fantastic bunts to help move runners and create scoring opportunities.

Beyond her softball skills, Jaq brings positive energy wherever she goes—her contagious smile is always helping keep the team upbeat and ready to compete!

Sadie is one of our standout utility players, making an impact wherever she’s needed. As our shortstop, she flashes a great glove and consistently makes tough plays look routine. She’s also one of our catchers and has worked hard all season on her throw-downs to second base, turning that effort into results on the field.

At the plate, Sadie brings plenty of power and has become a valued member of the home-run crew. Her biggest moment of the season came when she launched a clutch grand slam to tie the game and send us into extra innings, helping the team earn a spot in the championship game. Whether she’s making plays in the field or delivering in big moments at the plate, there’s a reason her teammates call her “Beast Mode.” 💪🏼

Harper is the definition of a team-first player. This season, she has stepped up and played just about everywhere on the field (Minus 1st and catcher), showcasing her versatility and willingness to do whatever the team needs. While you’ll most often find her making plays at third base, she’s also been putting in the work in the circle to continue developing her pitching skills.

On the bases, Harper is fearless and aggressive, always looking to create opportunities and put pressure on the defense. At the plate, she has a knack for delivering when it matters most. Time and time again this season, when the team needed a clutch hit or a big moment, Harper answered the call.

Whether she’s making plays in the field, causing chaos on the bases, or coming through under pressure, Harper’s hard-working attitude and competitive spirit make her a huge part of what makes Navy special. 💙🥎

Emma is our ace pitcher, she leads this team every time she steps into the circle and attacks hitters with a level of fierceness that’s hard to match. This season she reached an incredible milestone of 100 strikeouts—and she’s still adding to that total!

One of Emma’s greatest strengths is her ability to rise to the moment. The more pressure that’s put on her when she’s on the mound, the more focused and determined she becomes. Her work ethic is second to none, constantly putting in extra time to sharpen her skills and perfect her craft.

When she’s not dominating in the circle, she’s locking things down in center field! Emma’s toughness and dedication make her a huge part of what makes this team special.
