Quick healthy habit reminder as the weather starts warming up:

When temperatures rise, your heart rate will rise too—even at the same effort level.

That means a workout that felt comfortable a few weeks ago might suddenly feel harder. And that’s completely normal.

Your body needs time to acclimate to the heat.

So during this seasonal shift:

💧 Carry water or hydration with you
☀️ Give your body time to adjust
🐢 Slow down or lower the intensity if needed

And most importantly, give yourself grace if your workouts don’t feel as strong as you hoped they would.

You’re not losing fitness.
Your body is simply adjusting to a new literal season.

Healthy habits aren’t about pushing through at all costs—they’re about listening to your body and adapting when needed.

If your workouts have felt a little tougher lately, you’re not alone. Just keep showing up and let your body adjust.

Have you noticed the warmer weather affecting your workouts yet?

We just wrapped up my first Signature Healthy Habit Journey Course, and it was an incredible 8 weeks.

Together we worked on the core components of our healthy habits—movement, nutrition, mindset, and grace—and how to apply them to real life.

Because life changes—
your healthy habits should be able to adjust with it.

Instead of handing you a plan to follow for a few weeks, I want to teach you how to build habits that last.

The next course begins in April, with sign-ups opening at the end of March.

If you’re curious whether this could support your healthy habit journey, send me a message—I’m always happy to chat.

Mondays get a bad reputation.

But I actually think Mondays are a great day to take the first step.

Whether you’re starting your healthy habit journey for the very first time…
or restarting after life caused a pause.

Because here’s the thing—getting started doesn’t have to be extreme or overwhelming.

Your first step could be:

🚶‍♀️ Going for a walk
💪 Doing a 10-minute resistance circuit
🧘‍♀️ Stretching for a few minutes
💧 Drinking more water today

You don’t have to go from 0 minutes of exercise to 60 minutes.

You don’t have to suddenly cut out all your favorite foods.

Healthy habits aren’t built through extremes.
They’re built through small choices repeated consistently.

And those small changes?
They lead to big outcomes over time.

So if you’ve been waiting for the “perfect” time to start, let today be the day you take the first small step.

What’s one healthy habit you’re focusing on this week? 💙

“She’s too much.”
“She’s not enough.”

It feels like the world’s measuring stick for what women should be is constantly changing.

Too loud.
Too quiet.
Too strong.
Too soft.
Too ambitious.
Not ambitious enough.

So today, I want to remind you of something simple:

Throw out the measuring stick.

You are welcome in this space exactly as you are.

We’re not on a healthy habit journey to make ourselves more worthy or less flawed.

We’re not here to chase perfection.

We’re here to build habits that help us live fully, move confidently, and care for the bodies we’ve been given.

I say this because “she” is me too.

It took me years to untangle the lies I had believed about myself, and if I’m honest, it’s still something I work through.

My healthy habit journey isn’t perfect.

There are days I don’t want to work out.
There are days I indulge.
There are days I need more grace than discipline.

But just like perfection doesn’t define me, neither do my imperfections.

And the same is true for you.

So today, on International Women’s Day, I celebrate you.

Exactly as you are.
Right where you are.

And I’m grateful you’re here.

Happy International Women’s Day!!! 💙

Last April, one of my clients wanted to get back on track with her healthy habit journey.

Like many people, she had tried different things before. Quick fixes. Programs that promised fast results. The kind that make you feel like if you just push harder or restrict more, you’ll finally get there.

But this time, we did things differently.

She focused on small, sustainable changes instead of extremes.

And when progress felt slow or discouraging, she reminded herself of something simple I say often:

1 pound a week = 52 pounds in a year.

Suddenly the pressure to rush disappeared.

Instead of trying to change everything overnight, she focused on showing up—week after week.

Some weeks the scale moved.
Some weeks it didn’t.
Some weeks required a little more grace than perfection.

But she kept going.

And today, she is 46 pounds down.

Not because she chased perfection.
Not because she pushed herself to extremes.

But because she stayed consistent with small habits that fit into her real life.

This is why I believe so strongly in sustainable healthy habits.

Because the goal isn’t just reaching your goal weight.
It’s learning how to maintain it and adjust as life changes.

Slow progress isn’t weak progress.

It’s the kind that lasts.

If you’ve ever felt like your progress is too slow, let this be your reminder:

Small changes really do lead to big outcomes.

Tell me below—what’s one small habit you’re working on right now? 💛

It’s another Workout Wednesday and if you’re looking for a low impact workout to do, try this 5-move circuit to get your body moving.

• bicep curl
• squat to lateral raise (or just a squat)
• chest fly
• russian twists
• leg lift with dumbbell hold

Do each exercise for 45 seconds or 15 repetitions. Take a 45 second rest between rounds. Try 2-5 rounds.

Doable. Effective.
Let your healthy habits fly.

Perfection says: “Start over.”
Consistency says: “Keep going.”

A missed workout doesn’t undo your progress.
One off-plan meal doesn’t erase your habits.
A busy week doesn’t mean you failed.

Consistency is simply choosing to continue.

Healthy habits are built in the ordinary days—not the extreme ones.

This week, focus on staying in it…not being perfect in it.

Starting strong today? 💙

I love helping you build healthy habits because I truly believe most people want to be successful in their healthy habit journey.

But let’s be honest…
There is SO much confusing and conflicting information out there.

One program says cut carbs.
Another says fast.
Another says work out harder.
Another says you’re not disciplined enough.

And most programs will tell you what to do…
But they don’t teach you how to make it work for your real, everyday life—
or how to sustain it when life shifts.

So we swing to extremes.
We try to rush results.
We burn out.
And we think we failed.

But the truth?

Small, consistent changes done over time will help you reach your goals—
and actually maintain them.

That’s what I do.

I help you understand the components of healthy habits —
movement, nutrition, mindset, grace.

I provide doable and fun exercise options.
I teach you how to navigate your nutrition in a way that works for YOU.
I help you adjust and modify as the seasons of your life change.

Because healthy habits aren’t meant to be rigid.
They’re meant to evolve with you.

Instead of handing you the fish so you always need me…
I want to teach you how to fish.

So YOU become the key to reaching your goals.
So YOU know how to maintain them.
So your healthy habits can fly for the long haul.

And you don’t have to do it alone.

If support would help you right now, tell me below.

This spring, I’m not reinventing myself.
I’m refining the basics.

Here are 3 healthy habits I’m personally working on right now:

🌿 Planning my week better so I feel less scattered and more grounded.
🐾 Walking with Maggie—because simple movement still counts.
💧 Drinking more water (why is this one always the hardest?).

Here’s the truth:
Even as a coach, I’m still working on habits.
Not because I’m failing—but because I’m not perfect and growth never stops.

Healthy habits aren’t built in extremes.
They’re built in small, daily decisions.

Now I want to know—
Which one are YOU focusing on this spring?

👇 Tell me in the comments.

Save this as your gentle reminder that simple works.

We don’t have to change everything at once to be successful on our healthy habit journey. You can work on one thing at a time if that’s what you need in this season. What’s ONE habit you want to strengthen this spring?

Small habits = big change.
Doable. Effective.
Let your healthy habits fly.

It’s another Workout Wednesday and if you’re looking for a low impact workout to do, try this 5-move circuit to get your body moving.

• squats
• push-ups (regular or on your knees)
• heel raises
• dead bugs
• glute bridges

Do each exercise for 45 seconds or 15 repetitions. Take a 45 second rest between rounds. Try 2-5 rounds.

Doable. Effective.
Let your healthy habits fly.

Life changes have a way of shaking up our routines. Sometimes the habits that once fit just don’t anymore—and that’s okay.

Creating new healthy habits (or switching things up) doesn’t mean starting from scratch. It means meeting yourself where you are and giving yourself grace as you navigate this season and find your new normal.

Right now, Maggie and I are choosing something simple: we’re going to start walking. No pressure. No perfection. Just movement, fresh air, and consistency in small ways.

If you’re in the middle of a transition, be kind to yourself.
Grace over guilt—always.
Small steps still count. 💙

Let’s keep letting our healthy habits fly.
