🏁 WHAT A WAY TO END A ROOKIE SEASON! 🏁

Yesterday was the Monster Dash, and what a day it turned out to be! Three feature races—the C Main, B Main, and A Main — made for a day full of highs, challenges, and a whole lot of racing! 🏎️💨

We’ve been incredibly lucky all season to make it through without any major car issues, but yesterday, it finally caught up with us. On his first time out, Fin just wasn’t getting gas, THANKFULLY, the amazing Hagerstown Dad and Pappy crew came to the rescue and helped get Fin’s car back up and running. We can’t thank you guys enough for always showing up and helping us out! ❤️🏁

Here’s how Fin’s day unfolded:

🏁 C Feature: A terrible pill draw, car troubles and tears 😢 brought home a 2nd-place.

🏁 B Feature: Fin got out there, drove his heart out, and took the CHECKERED FLAG! 🏆

🏁 A Feature: And to finish off his rookie season in the best way possible, Fin drove to win and took the CHECKERED FLAG AGAIN! 🏆🏆

What a way to wrap up his first season! From learning, growing, and facing challenges to finding his confidence behind the wheel, watching this kid race has been an absolute blessing. We are so proud of how far he’s come, not just as a driver, but in his determination, sportsmanship, and love for this sport.

A huge thank-you to everyone who has supported Fin, helped us along the way, cheered him on, and been part of this journey. Racing truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for ours! ❤️

Long day of racing…update tomorrow 🏁❤️

Yesterday was a nice day of racing at the Dirty Boots Down and Dirty shoot out at Hagerstown. The lineup allowed for more seat time than a regular race, they went through a round of warm up laps, then each of their time trials, Heat race up next, then the feature.

Time trial- Fast time 🏎️💨
Heat- Started P1 ➡️ P1
Feature- Started P1 ➡️ checkered 🏁

Fin is really shaping up to be a great driver, he learns every race and listens to the wisdom from people that have been in the sport for years and we so appreciate the guidance, as parents we are learning as we go too. 🙌🏼

Being apart of the race family isn’t just the racing, the kids aren’t just competitors, they are friends. They play during down time, and congratulate and help each other out…like pushing cars after a race. 👏🏼 🤛🏼 We are already thinking about next season 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁

Yesterday was a beautiful day for racing…the car count was light and Fin’s class even lighter, but he still showed great driving.

It was Sundae Funday so in addition to yummy ice cream the features were inverted. Fin pulled the higher pill and started P2 in the heat race and finished P1.

For the feature with the invert, P1 in the heat started P2. Fin drove well and was able to make a clean pass after a few laps to take the checkered flag 🏁

We are down to the last 2 races for the season next month, we are already thinking about next season. We are hoping to really be a presence with a few partnerships …keep us in mind if you would like to partner with us.

We raced at our very first Bullrider Dirt Track World Championship yesterday, and what a great day it was. Fin experienced a new format with time trials instead of heat races. He had the fast lap and came out ahead for the feature win. 🏁 He drove well avoiding a crash and also avoided going into the in field (mud pit).
In addition to the day of racing we had FREE Fitz Fries, if anyone knows Fin, they know he LOVES French fries and he went back to ask if seconds were available haha, they were. 🍟 Thank you Richard Fitz and Family and HQMA for this awesome day.

Uncle Wayne even came along for a long hot day of racing. It may not have been the hottest day but Fin really minds the heat so a bigger fan was a must 😆🥵🥵🥵

And thanks to Kai (best brother) for powering through even though he was a bit under the weather. 😷

And a shout out to some awesome kids, Junior who was such a great competitor and kind kid and Doug (races higher classes) for pumping Fin up and congratulating him and pushing him to the scale house as soon as he left the track…we have met some really great people during this season.

We raced tonight and came out with a win…the track was super slick, a spin out and a few close calls (avoiding wrecks) during the the warm up laps made for a nervous mom, but Fin went out, adjusted to the track conditions, drove smart, and ran a great race.

Pill put him starting in 2nd and he quickly took the lead and kept it through a few caution restarts to win it…next race he will move up a class to Unrestricted Novice 🏁🏁🏁🏁
