The Douglas County School System invites the community to its inaugural Festival of the Arts, a full-day event celebrating creativity and showcasing the talent of DCSS students.

The festival will also include art contests with prizes, as well as food trucks and vendor booths, creating a lively, family-friendly atmosphere.
Proceeds from the event support student scholarships and arts grants, helping expand access to arts education across the district.

The festival will take place Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Legacy Arena in Douglasville.

The CTAE Passport to Success event invites 8th-grade students from Douglas County Schools to explore future career pathways through hands-on learning and interactive experiences. Hosted at Legacy Arena, this engaging event connects students with Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) programs designed to help them discover interests, develop skills, and prepare for success in high school and beyond.

Students will have the opportunity to engage with educators, industry partners, and program representatives while gaining insight into real-world careers and educational opportunities available through CTAE pathways.

This is a free event for Douglas County Schools 8th-grade students.
