The Star Course is May 16th. Unknown course of fire. Real terrain. Real obstacles. All steel. Every person who has come through says the same thing — they didn’t know what to expect and they can’t wait to come back.
That’s the point.

This isn’t about how far you can run.
Most run and gun courses push 5 miles. The Salt Branch Run and Gun Star Course comes in at just under 2. The distance isn’t what’s going to break you.
It’s the 30 seconds of battle ropes right before you have to hold your pistol steady. It’s flipping a tire 10 times and then dropping prone to make a precision shot while your chest is heaving. It’s the moment your body is done but the target is still waiting.
This isn’t a tactical games pit with paper targets and a clock. Every station is built into the natural landscape of the Texas Hill Country — real terrain, real shooting positions, and all steel so you hear every hit. The course finds you, not the other way around.
Six stations. Rifle and pistol. About 2 miles of some of the most beautiful and brutal shooting terrain in Texas.
