Ashton Wheeler Racing Ashton Wheeler Racing Our driver, Ashton Wheeler, has been involved kart racing since the age of 4. We strive to develop our racing program in any way possible.

He loves the competitive nature go kart racing offers and 2022 will be Ashton’s 15th year to be racing karts. Our racing team is primarily funded by Ashton’s parents, Ryan & Karen Wheeler, along with support from Triple E Sales and Schurr Power in Orion, Illinois for chassis and motor development and our Sponsors throughout the season. Our position gives us many unique tools and resources that mos

t race teams do not have. In order to be successful, we feel we must work harder than our competitors in every way. We are willing to do what it takes to win. The Wheeler Racing Team has been planning all winter for a great 2022 race season. With many improvements and acquired knowledge over the past 15 years, we hope to have a strong season with more success than ever. The Wheeler Racing team consists of Ashton Wheeler, Ryan Wheeler, Stan Erdmann, Kyle Erdmann, Ty Schurr and the endless help from family and friends when time permits. Ashton Wheeler is the driver and leader of our team. Ryan Wheeler is crew chief, chauffeur, and also known as the “DAD.” Stan & Kyle Erdmann responsible for chassis development and kart setup. Heat 1: 47th -> 33rd of 61

Crazy weekend at Cup Karts North America Grand Nationals. A wreck in happy hour had us scrambling to make it back out in time for qualifying. With a not so great handling kart, we qualified in the deep in the 100+ kart field. We stayed clean through the heats and even finished Heat 2 with a broken seat strut. Through it all we automatically made it through and picked up a few spots in the final.

A big think you goes to VLR Karts / RLV Tuned Exhaust , Miranda, and Geoff for the help all weekend! As well as helping get the kart back together so I could make it out for qualifying. Thank you to Jon DeMaster for welding the seat strut back together! Thank you to Ksobiech racing team for the help all year, and letting me be able to share the pit space with you. Thank you Schurr Power - TSR for the great power, and my sponsors Sport Truck Specialties and HammerTime Improvement!Congrats to Cale Zimmermann for getting your first grands win.
