It’s time to introduce our last, but not least, member of our Polar Elite 12U coaching staff—and this coach brings years of playing and coaching experience across several sports! 🥎❄️

Everyone, meet Coach Ashley Hock—aka “Sarahock”! 💜

🏀 SPORTS SHE PLAYED:

Ashley played both basketball and lacrosse in high school and continued playing lacrosse in college! After college, she joined an adult kickball league—which is actually where she really got to know her husband! 🥰 Talk about the perfect team-building experience!

🥎 COACHING EXPERIENCE:

🥍 Lacrosse — 5 years as a head coach and 2 years as an assistant coach
🥎 Softball — 5 years
🏀 Basketball — 3 years

With experience coaching three different sports, Ashley brings leadership, versatility, and a competitive spirit to the Polar Elite coaching staff!

Our Heroes & Hometown Classic would not have been possible without the incredible Danielle Peters! From the countless hours of planning and organizing to managing every detail throughout the weekend, Danielle took on this tournament and absolutely knocked it out of the park! 🥎👏

Most people only see the finished product, but behind the scenes were endless messages, schedules, decisions, problem-solving, and last-minute adjustments. Danielle handled it all with dedication, patience, and a genuine desire to create a memorable weekend for every player, coach, family, and team in attendance.

Danielle, your hard work did not go unnoticed. You poured your time, energy, and heart into making this tournament a success, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you did. Please know how appreciated you are and how proud we are to have you as part of our Polar Elite family!

🥎 Polar Elite | Heroes & Home Runs Tournament Recap 🥎

What a weekend of softball! 💙🤍

Polar Elite battled through four games at the Heroes & Home Runs Softball Tournament, and while the scoreboard didn’t always go our way, these girls showed plenty of fight, determination, and heart from the first pitch to the last.

🔥 Game 1: A back-and-forth battle that came down to the final pitch. After fighting all the way back to tie the game at 10 in the 5th, Polar Elite fell on a walk-off, 11-10. The girls showed incredible resilience, collecting 9 hits, drawing 5 walks, stealing 11 bases, and playing error-free defense.

💪 Game 2: After jumping out to an early 1-1 tie, Polar Elite battled through a tough middle stretch and ultimately fell 21-1. Despite the score, the girls continued to compete and finished the game with no errors in the field.

🥎 Game 3: Polar Elite continued to battle against Vanquish, putting together hits and runs while fighting through a tough start. The girls battled until the final out in a 12-3 loss.

🔥 Game 4: Sunday brought another hard-fought game against Vanquish. Polar Elite jumped on the board first and kept battling, ultimately falling 5-3. The girls collected 5 hits, drew 5 walks, and stole 6 bases while continuing to fight until the very end.

This weekend wasn’t about the final record — it was about competing, learning, getting better, and sticking together. Every inning, every at-bat, every pitch, and every defensive play is another opportunity to grow. 📈🥎

Proud of these girls for showing up, battling, and continuing to work together. The best is still ahead! 💙🤍
