Opening weekend for the Cobras 🐍

The Cobras hit the road to take on Carlisle Rockets. It had been a few months since the boys last played together. We’ve trained and had a few scrimmages, but there was still some rust to shake off.

Carlisle struck first to go up 0-1 early, and the Cobras had to respond. The team picked up the pace, adjusted the formation, and battled back. They found the equalizer to make it 1-1, then kept the momentum going to take a 2-1 lead into halftime.

Coming out motivated in the second half, the boys had to keep fighting. Carlisle came out just as hungry, scoring two goals to take a 3-2 lead. But the Cobras weren’t finished yet. After patiently waiting for the right opportunity, a strong push through the defense led to our center back finding the equalizer, ending the game 3-3.

A hard-fought, back-and-forth battle from start to finish. Great effort for the first game of the season and the Cobras never stopped fighting. 💪🐍

Back on the field, putting in the work, getting ready to kick off the season the right way. Energy is high, vibes are good, and the grind has officially started.

🏆 Season Wrap-Up: DASC Cobras U9 Fall Season! 🐍

What an incredible first season for our U9 Cobras! We finished strong today with a 5-2 win in our last game and celebrated all our hard work with a fun end-of-season pizza party 🍕🎉.

These young athletes learned so much this season, grew as a team, and showed amazing determination on the field. For such a young group, their progress has been phenomenal and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things they’ll achieve in the future!

A huge thank you to all the parents who made this season possible. Here’s to many more victories and memories ahead! ⚽💪

Nothing beats a “silent Saturday”… 😉
Cobras traveled to Enola to take on the East Penn Legends and came out with a 3-1 win! 🎉

No yelling, no sideline chatter…just the boys communicating, problem-solving, and running the show themselves. (Don’t worry, the coaches didn’t sit there completely quiet!! They helped our “junior coaches” on the sideline. They would echo what the coaches needed them to say!)

It was an awesome learning experience and a great step forward in teamwork, communication, and field awareness. 👏

Great job, Cobras! 💜⚽️

Cobras take on the DDSO! 🐍⚽

This weekend, the Cobras played in their very first tournament, the Dillsburg Dual Shootout! They came out strong, earning the #1 seed in Bracket 3 and kicked things off Saturday at 2PM against the Etown Marauders, earning a commanding 6-0 win! 💪

Day two started bright and early at 9:40AM, facing Catonsville Cobras, a team we beat 1-0 the day before. Despite a hard-fought battle (and a few incorrect calls… that we even confirmed with the head ref 😅), the game ended in a tough 3-2 loss.

Our final match of the weekend came at 1:30PM against Fusion FC. It was a nail-biter, staying 0-0 until the final minutes when Fusion slipped one in with just 4 minutes left on the clock. Coaches were already preparing for a shootout, but that late goal ended our DDSO run with a 6th place finish.

Regardless of the result, these boys played their hearts out, showed incredible growth, and proved what they’re made of. 💜 Playing six games in one weekend is no easy task… especially for a bunch of 7-year-olds, but they gave it everything they had!

We couldn’t be prouder of our Cobras! 🐍🔥

What. A. Game. 🐍⚽️

Cobras took on the top-of-the-table team, Camp Hill, at home this Saturday, and it was an absolute battle from start to finish.

The boys came out strong, going up 2-0 early and looking like it might be a smooth ride… but Camp Hill fought back with three quick goals to take the lead. From there, the score kept bouncing back and forth in a thrilling match that ended in a tough 5-4 loss.

Despite the result, the Cobras looked like the better team controlling possession, passing beautifully, and working the field with confidence. While Camp Hill relied on kicking the balls and runs, our boys stayed composed and kept their heads in the game.

We may not have come away with the win, but we showed heart, skill, and teamwork all the way through. 💪🐍

The Cobras took on Eagle FC in Mechanicsburg this past Saturday and came out with a 3-0 win!

The scoreline doesn’t show just how dominant the Cobras were… with over 20 shots on goal, they kept the pressure high all game long. Their teamwork, passing, and hustle across the field were absolutely spectacular. 🔥

Proud of the way these players keep growing every match! ⚽🐍
