The Dickinson High School Booster Club is holding their annual booster bash on Wednesday September 2nd at the Henry Biesiot Activities Center.

Come out for an evening of fun activities for the kids! A great opportunity for parents to learn more about what the DHS Booster Club has to offer and how to become a member!

The Dickinson High School Booster Club invites students, families, and community members to attend the Sports Extravaganza Booster Bash & Fundraiser on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the Biesiot Activities Center (BAC).

The evening will feature activities for all ages, including athlete challenges, carnival games, a dunk tank, youth flag football and soccer scrimmages, and more. Attendees will also have an opportunity to check out the new Dickinson Mavericks apparel.

Fargo All-American!

Hugh Meyer earned a spot on the podium at one of the nations toughest tournaments! His hard work and dedication to the sport of wrestling earned him a top 4 finish, achieving Fargo All-American honors!

After an incredible run through a stacked bracket, Hugh finishes 4th in the Junior Greco division at Fargo Nationals.

That kind of performance takes relentless work, toughness, and belief. Going toe-to-toe with the nation’s elite and coming out a top-4 finisher is something special.

Off Season Update!

Grateful to bring a great group of boys to the Chadron State Wrestling Camp this last week! The boys competed well and were fortunate enough to get up to 8 matches in!

Jacob Wolf and Bryant Kern brought home some hardware as 2 Takedown Champs! We also had a couple of others finish as runner up!

We are always grateful for the opportunity to get back out on the mat and spend some time together!

Results Update:

Congratulations to Colbey Steeke for being the 2026 Bracket Challenge Winner! He scores 100 points with his bracket! His pick of Landon Robideau at 157 lbs. helped him rack up 5 bonus points in his bracket!
Colbey Steeke is a teacher at the Southwest CTE, wrestling official, and big wrestling advocate. Colby was a multi time state placer for the Hettinger Nighthawks under DHS alumni Randy Burwick. Colby is very active in the wrestling community giving back to the sport as he is now wearing the stripes instead of a superman suit.
We appreciate Colby’s encouragement he gives to Dickinson athletes to be a part of our program and the guidance he gives to the youth the hallways. Thank you Mr. Steeke for being a part of our wrestling community.

Coming in second place was Mr. Luke Steiner with the guidance of his son Ashton! The Steiner family is very active in the Dickinson Wrestling club, you can see many of their boys tearing it up on the mat!

Winner of the top Pins was PJ Duke and Joey Novak with 2 falls in the tournament. There were a couple of individuals in the running for the prize and from a draw of a hat the winner was Aric Mines!

It was another fun national tournament to watch this year with a lot of unpredictability. That is the joy of the post season! Thank you to everyone who participated in the DHS Wrestling Bracket Challenge this year. It is a good little fundraiser for us but more importantly it is a fun way to share wrestling with each other and continue to promote the sport wrestling.
