Youth (Ages 13–16): Must be able to balance and stride confidently on skates.
*Placement is determined during Performance Team Auditions.

🌿 **IDLEWILD UPDATE – WE’RE READY FOR SATURDAY!** 🌿

We know many of you have been concerned about the air quality caused by the Canadian wildfires. We wanted to share some encouraging news!

According to **FOX 2 Detroit**, a weather front moving in today with rain is expected to clear much of the smoke from our area. They also advised **not to cancel Saturday events**, as conditions are expected to improve.

We are looking forward to a wonderful day at the **Idlewild Historic & Cultural Center**!

🛍️ **Vendor Setup:** 9:30 AM
🚌 **Bus Riders:** Meet at **7:00 AM** at the **Oakland Mall (old Macy’s parking lot)**

For everyone’s comfort, **masks will be available** for anyone who would like one.

☀️ Don’t forget:

✔️ Comfortable shoes
✔️ A smile and your community spirit!

🚨 **Calling All Michigan Vendors & Food Trucks!** 🚨

We’re creating an exciting **Vendor Marketplace** for the **1st Annual Detroit Stylin’ Skate Club x Idlewild Fundraiser** on **Saturday, July 18, 2026**, and we’re looking for businesses that want to grow with us!

Our vision is to build an annual tradition that brings together shoppers, families, entrepreneurs, and the community in historic Idlewild. This is a great opportunity to:

✨ Showcase your products or services
🤝 Network with other business owners and community leaders
📣 Increase your brand visibility
🛍️ Connect with new customers in a welcoming marketplace atmosphere

We’re currently accepting:
• Small businesses
• Black-owned businesses
• Retail vendors
• Artists and makers
• Beauty & wellness brands
• **Food trucks and food vendors**
• Nonprofits and community organizations

Because this is our **first annual event**, participating vendors will have the opportunity to be considered for our **preferred vendor list** for future Detroit Stylin’ Skate Club events and partnerships as we continue to grow.
