Why Zyia? My Story.
I chose Zyia last year, a few months after I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I needed a confidence and self-esteem booster after RA attempted to take everything from me. This debilitating disease took 6 years to diagnose, and within those 6 years, I gained weight, lost my love of the outdoors, and wreaked havoc on my mental health. Now, I look back and realize where I am now is because of those trying times.
I thought Rheumatoid Arthritis was just something that happens with age. Um, no. I was very sick at the time of diagnosis with pericarditis, and then a couple of months ago, I went into acute renal failure due to kidney stones, a complication of RA. Surprise! Oh my goodness. RA is nothing to play around with, and a healthy and active lifestyle is crucial to keep flare-ups to a minimum.
So, now with a more aggressive treatment regimen and less fatigue and pain, the plan is to get back in the game. That is where Zyia came into play. I love their style of activewear. I like how I hear story after story of women just like me find their self-confidence explode while wearing these products. Plus, my 5-year-old and husband wanted to try the clothing as well, so we did.
Why did I wait to introduce our friends to Zyia? Honestly, I wanted to try it out first. I wanted to watch what others said about the product, what questions were being asked, and how customer support handled issues. And, I wanted myself and my family to wear and launder the products before I ever put my name behind Zyia.
I couldn't be happier with my decision to wait and watch with Zyia. And I couldn't be happier to introduce my family and friends to a brand of activewear that inspires a healthy and active lifestyle.
